I'm not sure if this is fair to say. Rosters change a little bit every year. We lost Murray and we will miss him. McFadden has yet to prove he can be The Guy for a team like Murray was. So our RB's are not as good this year as last year and no one can argue that fact. But the overall team I would say has improved. The offensive line is better with the addition of Collins. Receivers and tight ends are the same. Special teams are the same. The defensive line is better with the addition of Hardy and the draft pick (his name escapes me right now). the secondary is better through the draft.

I will never admit that we won't miss Murray. We are a better Offensive team with him on it. But the overall roster of the dallas cowboys with the additions and subtractions I feel we are a better overall team. Better front 7 on defense and better secondary.

On a football team I feel there isn't one player that you can't replace with the exception of a talented qb. Has anyone been paying attention to the Commanders the last 10 or so years? they sign everyone's all pros and they haven't won. Don't get me wrong, hopefully Murray will stay healthy and play great for the Eagles but the Dallas Cowboys are the better overall team and if we play our game we will win the division and make a super bowl run.

Murray did not take us to the playoffs last year. He was a cog in the engine, this year we're driving an overall better engine and we don't need that one cog to be spectacular. The engine is spectacular

Really? I was hoping he does for the Eagles what he typically did for us. Go down in game 6 for 4 or 5 games.

Yeah, I wasn't for getting AP. Honestly at the end of the season I told my son, who's also a huge cowboys fan, that we should let Murray walk, sign McFadden for cheap, give dez a 5yr 70 mil with 40 guaranteed, then try to work on the D line. When Dez signed for 70 and 45 my son was laughing asking if I'm a witch lol.

Whoooaahhhh

Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty...... Pretty good.

I'm tired of seeing fans, and reporters alike constantly saying McFadden "is an injury waiting to happen, or he's had one healthy season"

Um, Murray is the exact same way. Now that Murray isn't in a contract year how do u think he's going to play? Will the wrist injury he played through last season put him out a few weeks if he has a similar injury this year? Murray had a good year, but honestly I wasn't a big fan of his, I felt he played last season for a contract. Now McFadden is in a contract year, playing for very little. He probably could of got more elsewhere, yet he signed in Dallas imo because of the line. Let's see at the end of the year who's been healthy then look back.

I don't think contract has anything to do with a player sustaining a real injury or not. Murray had 2 very good seasons back to back missing 2 games in 2013 and 0 in 2014. The injury Murray sustained late last year was a broken finger that he played through in other season MCL and a sprained foot kept him out not something you can fake or play though contract year or no contract year.

lol yeah they still say he was injury prone.

and bad vision, and fumbles too much, too slow etc.
meanwhile his peers voted him the 4th best player in league last year.
watch this vid and check out how bad he was lol

He had the most yards a DAL RB ever had and his biggest critics are Cowboys fans. Even today Emmitt said he should have had 2500 yards last year. It's unbelievable.

well if he had got 2500, that would have been 6.37 yd per carry on 392, and I dont think anyone can carry that many and avg that.
Emmitt is mad murray broke his record.
lets look at emmitt's big year
1995
16 games377 carries1,773 4.7avg6 fumbles ! what! I thought only murray was the fumbler!
murray 16 392 1,845 4.7 3 both sites had murray with 3 fumbles?
so in their best year they were very similar, but fans today say emmitt was great and murray was a bum ! lol
Emmitt fumbles 6 times and hey its ok buddy!
murray fumbles 6 times and hey lets get rid of the bum!
in first 4 years
Emmitt had 4.5 avg
Murray had 4.8 avg
barber had 4.3 avg
julius jones 3.95 avg
felix jones 4.5 avg..... left year 1 off only 30 carries 8.9 avg, and 5 years 4.4 avg.

So who had the best avg? the guy with bad vision, too slow, and was a bum!

I would like to see murray have another great year, but if he doesnt or gets hurt we will never hear the end of it.

Lol, well that's what I am secretly hoping for but for the record I don't wish injury on anyone.

I think that Ryan Williams could be an absolute stud if he can find a way to stay healthy.
