I'm not sure if this is fair to say. Rosters change a little bit every year. We lost Murray and we will miss him. McFadden has yet to prove he can be The Guy for a team like Murray was. So our RB's are not as good this year as last year and no one can argue that fact. But the overall team I would say has improved. The offensive line is better with the addition of Collins. Receivers and tight ends are the same. Special teams are the same. The defensive line is better with the addition of Hardy and the draft pick (his name escapes me right now). the secondary is better through the draft.
I will never admit that we won't miss Murray. We are a better Offensive team with him on it. But the overall roster of the dallas cowboys with the additions and subtractions I feel we are a better overall team. Better front 7 on defense and better secondary.
On a football team I feel there isn't one player that you can't replace with the exception of a talented qb. Has anyone been paying attention to the Commanders the last 10 or so years? they sign everyone's all pros and they haven't won. Don't get me wrong, hopefully Murray will stay healthy and play great for the Eagles but the Dallas Cowboys are the better overall team and if we play our game we will win the division and make a super bowl run.
Murray did not take us to the playoffs last year. He was a cog in the engine, this year we're driving an overall better engine and we don't need that one cog to be spectacular. The engine is spectacular
Really? I was hoping he does for the Eagles what he typically did for us. Go down in game 6 for 4 or 5 games.
