Not sure how familiar you are with this case, Mettenberger did not just grab the girls buttocks he also placed his hands all over her including her breasts. The girl was a waitress, yes, but not on duty that evening.

The act was so egregious that the bar staff threw him out and called police on him. The terms of the sentencing included a BAN from the city of Valdosta and he was kicked off the Georgia team. Doesn't sound like it was just simple teenage hijinks to me.

Mettenberger also failed drug test at combine, flagged for spinal condition and got his faced smashed in at local bar before he ever threw a pass for the Titans.

This is just another "bad" boy like Mr. Hardy. We don't want him and we don't need him. If he was actually smart enough to play QB in the
NFL he might get another chance but, alas he hasn't shown the ability to lead an NFL team. Pass!

No, he is a late round project QB that has been vastly overrated on this board. He was not a highly rewarded QB in this board until Dallas draft him and he is nothing compared to Wilson or Cam in ability. It is wishful thinking at best by a desperate fanbase. Dak is Tebow-lite. Reality has left the building when it comes to this board evaluating draft picks. Tapping breaks are not the answer. The brakes needs slammed to the floorboard. I am sorry, but I am blnot capable of letting my fandom override realty. Dak is a fine young man, but he is a typical late round pick. There are reasons that he was drafted that late in the draft.

I wasnt aware of the sexual battery, so that would be a legit reason not to bring him in. It was at least 6 or 7 yrs ago and sounds like a dumb jock mistake but apparently he learned from it since he hasnt had any further instances. As far as keeping Cassel over him, remember the current Titans Coach and coordinator have no ties to him so it isnt that big of a deal. With the talent there, the best QB in football would have had a hard time winning there.
