Look at Romo's numbers and the plays he made. Remember all those 8-8 Garrett teams? Romo was the only reason those teams weren't 3-13.

But then we have a turd like Eli Manning who, outside of two lucky postseason runs, was nothing but a constant turnover machine and chronic loser the entirety of his career.
But he wins two Super Bowls (scoring 17 and 21 points in them) carried by his defense and he's in the HOF conversation.

Romo was many times better than Eli and always was.
Manning’s second SB run was not just the defenses. He played lights out.

Romo was shackled with Garrett as a play caller until Linehan came here and Jerry banned JG from the offense. I don’t count when Callahan was calling plays, because Garrett was constantly interfering.
I thought Romo was pretty much calling his own plays the last 2-3 years. He probably knew situation plays/football better than the coaches. For example, he, more than any of the coaches knew Dez's strengths and weaknesses and changed plays accordingly.

Well, Garrett was all buddy, buddy with Romo, but the snake he is he did not let Romo come back from being injured to keep his job and he gave the job to Dak...and nine years later, "here we goooo". smdh
He had to take the chance. He saw enough of Romo that he couldn’t win with him.

It’s a team sport not singles sport. That’s for him and any other qb too. Most people just too dumb tbh to see how good or not a qb is so they use stupid metrics like playoff records smh
I don’t make the rules take it up with those in the hall. The rule was there before Romo and will be after. Playoff success by a QB is what they are measured on.
