No one is paying anyone off here, the only person that would be "paid off" is if this goes to court and there is a settlement.

Outside of that, it's idiotic to even discuss someone being paid off here - Jerry had multiple instances where he could have paid people off and it never happened. This is just borderline ridiculous at this point, and frankly, crap like this shouldn't even be allowed in this thread. It's a complete derailment.

Why is it so tough for people to just sit and wait and see what the authorities turn up?

....and the media found out about it. Also, that was a player on the team the deal was made with, not someone outside of it.

But you can, at any time, provide an example since the 90s of anyone reporting Jerry Jones paying someone off outside of the franchise. He's had plenty of chances to do this. This isn't the movies, folks.

The payment will come out of Zeke's pocket, if it turns out he did do this. Not Jerry's.

But even then, since I granted you it - that was never proven, and all parties denied it.

so basically we have a couple of people saying Zeke did it and a couple of people saying he didn't.

If the guy who got punched does not know, and there is no video of the punch, then Zeke walks on this as regards the police.

But the hanging Judge of the NFL will suspend him anyway.
