TNA pulled a .62 monday, vs WWE's 3.7. Could be a post-mania bump, it could be the signel that TNA is destroyed, TNA is going 8-10pm next Monday.

This isn't a shock in the least. This isn't as much about WM giving the WWE a bump as it is the cool, let's see what TNA is going to do, factor has quickly worn off as the fans realized very quickly it was same old same old with them.

TNA has ZERO SHOT of improving anywhere near enough to compete with WWE's RAW.

Told you so. House show vs. Live show is no contest.

They were pulling 1.1s and even pulled a 1.5 on Jan 4th, then 2 .8s, and a .62. It has crashed and burned at the weight of Wrestlemania, if it does not rebound next week I predict a return to Thursdays, eventually a move to Fridays to challenge SmackDown instead I would put money on.

Yeah they pulled a couple higher numbers while people tuned in to see if they were going to make a serious run at changing their product and doing something special. Fans quickly learned that it was nothing more than watching more of the same old TNA and thus decided to stop flipping over to SPIKE.

If they have to move back to Thursdays, after this, they're going to wind up folding very quickly after that. There will be no sticking around to try and compete with Smackdown on Fridays.

dude is such a terrible wrestler. Orton>Cena

Actually that's false. If people had seen his indy work, and his work he did for the WWE in their developmental fed they'd know that the guy can actually wrestle and wrestle darn well. With Cena, much like it was with Austin during his Stone Cold run, his wrestling skill isn't what people get behind him for and don't want to see. Just like Austin was a much better wrestler than a lot of people gave him credit for cause what got popular, what people wanted to see, was Austin throwing punches and stunning people.

Same thing with Cena. His fans just want to see him punching, kicking, throwing a few slams in, and over coming the odds and so his in ring style is cut back to sell to the masses and what they want out of him.

But I've seen plenty of the guy outside of his mainstream run and the guy can actually go. It's a shame they don't let him show it more often.

There are a couple nice examples of it since he's been in WWE proper. His match with Kurt Angle, when he first came in, was really solid and his 1 hour match on RAW with HBK a few years ago was darn good as well and it wasn't just because of HBK or Angle either. Cena was allowed to show the skills he actually has but rarely gets to display.

Typical TNA 101. Sign up a WWE cast off, put the belt on their waist in short order, get the short term gain and the long term ruin.

Yet further proof that TNA management simply doesn't get it.

The Raw crew was stranded in Europe ...... and they still got better ratings than TNA.

I haven't watched wrestling in years, but he was one of my favorite wrestlers in ECW. Him, Raven, and the Road Dogg were my favorites.

Oh my God that is horrible.

Indy wrestling is not as polished as WWE or TNA, obviously. But I like to watch the shows, the performers perform with a passion an excitement you dont see in TNA or WWE, they love to be there and they just have that extra edge.

I agree. I've went to a handful of small time live shows and while, for the most part, they can't cut the promos the big guys can, and they're not necassarily as good at the wrestling, you can definately feel the passion and love they have for it when they're doing it. It's a pretty unique feeling when you go to the small time shows as opposed to the big time ones.

Of course I've enjoyed every single one of the WWE shows I've went to live over the years as well, especially Wrestlemania 25.

Ya, I love the fact that they love what there doing. It really makes up for the lack of over-scripted promos and over-musculer guys all oiled up and wrestling, plus its usually like $5 or $10 instead of $40-$200. That always helps too :laugh2:

The new Monday Night "war" is over ......

TNA has conceded and are moving back to Thursday nights because of how bad they were being destroyed.

:lmao:

Rumors are circulating that Vince may move Smackdown to Thursdays to finish them off.

They should not have messed with the king.

People actually have a horse in this race?

Anymore, it's basically picking the least smelly option.

It might sound mean, and rude, but in this case I don't care. I'd laugh, a lot, if he moved Smackdown to Thursdays just so he could force them to close up shop.

When you suck on Thursdays, and you're not in competition on that night, it makes you look very foolish to think that you're going to move to Monday nights and suddenly not suck while you're trying to dethrone the King of Monday Nights.

I don't feel the least bit sorry for TNA because the people running the show there are just stupid.
