I knew it was bad but didn't know how bad. Just saw the Eagles had 126 yards of penalties against them, Carolina just 1 yard. They still found a way on the road...

Philly is good, top 3 team in the NFC, Wentz is good with a chance to be a really good QB for years.
Commanders are good, have a chance at the division and playoffs.
Cowboys, 8-8 at best.
Giants are trash.

Let's face it, we blew a really good chance in 2016, not sure when we will have it again but I am pretty sure we won't this year.

Every few years we put up a great season but we never seem to follow up on it.

+2 in turnovers, and the Panthers were 1-3 on 4th down. That is a wide discrepancy in penalties though.

Definitely not wow, but still pretty decent considering the pressure he was facing most of the game. Carolina's pretty damn good on defense. Moved the ball at times and protected the ball pretty well. Like Dak did, IMO against a really good NY defense to start the season. Not a gorgeous game but a QB that protects the ball gives his team a good chance to win... Unless his team has our defense.

With Luke out that defense isn't the same. Still good though but not elite without him

Well, all l can add...that's what a solid defense can do. Stop a club with 2 cracks at a yard on 4th down and get 3 picks while keeping constant heat on the QB. Don't need a Superstar Offense when a defense can play like that. Defense wins the big games.

Cox and Jernigan (DTs) are making things easy for everyone. Cam didn't even want to step into the pocket. Can't say it enough. Control that A gap and you're at an advantage

Tell it, haleyrules. I think we save like ten million next year if we cut Dez and like 6 million if we cut crawford. Should be able to afford some better players on D if they will commit to it. I really wish they'd realise that there can be a healthy balance in FA where you wisely spend on a couple of key players without going full ****** like the skins or eagles would.
Gotta spend some...wisely.
