If you assume they can't hold them, then yes, it doesn't matter. But the odds of holding them were way better than the odds of converting 4th-and-25. And if they did hold them, the odds of coming back from 1 point down are massively better than the odds of coming back from 4 points down.
Oh I’m sure the numbers favor punting.

All I’m saying is. You’re in a terrible spot either way as you mentioned earlier as well.

It was a hyper aggressive call by Reid but not that terrible of a decision given you’re chances suck either way.

Right, they need to hold them but you have a better chance of doing that than converting a 4th and 20 or 25.
You have to do it either way though.

At the end of the day. The call didn’t even matter. Because their defense failed.

Players get hurt there’s no excuse. It’s not the first time team has lost without of it’s best players not playing
Kelce has been extremely durable and is why they could get away with trading hill and rolling with what they got. Once he went down, who they have now will be some growing pains through out the season. Pacheco didn't look that great either. Lions played great and earned the win. Chiefs, at least tonight, look like they have taken a couple of steps back. Maybe losing their OC will be a bigger impact than we thought?
