Think the play call is the same at 4-20 / 4-25 imo.Right, they need to hold them but you have a better chance of doing that than converting a 4th and 20 or 25.

They need a real gm. Their receivers suck. No depth at tight end. They knew this and ignored it.Mahomes didn’t lose the game his receivers don’t come up with balls that are right there
Oh I’m sure the numbers favor punting. If you assume they can't hold them, then yes, it doesn't matter. But the odds of holding them were way better than the odds of converting 4th-and-25. And if they did hold them, the odds of coming back from 1 point down are massively better than the odds of coming back from 4 points down.
Yes, but Kelce being hurt and Toney dropping balls is why they lost. Could have won without Jones imo.Feels a little like 1993, when Emmitt held out and the Cowboys started 0-2.
Wasn't just Toney. None of their receivers were doing Mahomes any favors.Yes, but Kelce being hurt and Toney dropping balls is why they lost. Could have won without Jones imo.
Players get hurt there’s no excuse. It’s not the first time team has lost without of it’s best players not playingYes, but Kelce being hurt and Toney dropping balls is why they lost. Could have won without Jones imo.
You have to do it either way though.Right, they need to hold them but you have a better chance of doing that than converting a 4th and 20 or 25.
He was a step away from making a touchdown when he slipped in the 1st half.It was the rookie’s debut. I think he’s a talented prospect, and an exciting piece of the puzzle that makes up the Detroit offense.
What? Emmitt held out? So selfish and greedy!Feels a little like 1993, when Emmitt held out and the Cowboys started 0-2.
If he doesn’t slip he’s in.He was a step away from making a touchdown when he slipped in the 1st half.
Kelce has been extremely durable and is why they could get away with trading hill and rolling with what they got. Once he went down, who they have now will be some growing pains through out the season. Pacheco didn't look that great either. Lions played great and earned the win. Chiefs, at least tonight, look like they have taken a couple of steps back. Maybe losing their OC will be a bigger impact than we thought?Players get hurt there’s no excuse. It’s not the first time team has lost without of it’s best players not playing
Emmitt didn't have a contract at the time. Not the same thing. What? Emmitt held out? So selfish and greedy!
That's a hot boys take!Chiefs looked pretty sloppy for a team that played starters in the preseason. Almost like it doesn't matter and our fanbase moans and cries about everything.
Same as what?Emmitt didn't have a contract at the time. Not the same thing.
Hope there are more like this come Sunday...relatively low scoring, with few penalties and turnovers...with the outcome not assured until the last two minutes.By the way, this was a heck of an opening game.
