To all Kellen Moore supporters/detractors

Ill hold my opinion for two weeks.

I thought he had a better feel for things mentally than Cassel did. It looked like we were finally doing what Linehan wanted to do. Not sure he can get much better with his physical limitations. He's just not someone we should look to keep long term unless it's a 3rd string or emergency QB..... If we want a high end backup QB, it's not KMoore.

Could be. I dont see it though. He's too limited amd he defense's will be able to play a shorter field and those windows are going to get tighter because I dont think he can challenge single coverage deep. I could be wrong but I think its going to get harder for him not easier

I didn't see as weak of an arm as I thought, he was threading balls into tight spaces late in the game and that last deep throw wasn't all that bad. It certainly wasn't any worse than what we saw in Weeden and Cassel. I'm starting to think the weak arm stuff may be a bit of an exaggeration.

He's nothing special, small, not a strong arm....not the answer as a backup and certainly not a future starter, which is what this team needs to address..

He isn't even a backup. He is too small with a weak arm.

What's your opinion of the kid now that he has some snaps under his belt? The same or has tonight's performance changed your mind for the better or worse.

I've been a supporter all season and tonight's performance has only reinforced what I've believed in all along.

"tonight's performance has only reinforced"...that being accurate in college doesn't translate to the NFL.

And yet, here he is with the chance to finish out the season as a starter. Hasn't played in a game since his college days and has still found a way to stay relevant in the league. Fancy that.

I thought he did well for his first action in a couple of years. He obviously can read a defense and can get to his 2nd and 3rd receivers. Also like that he is quick and decisive with the ball. Hoping they let him start next week.

He provided the spark I hoped Cassel would have all those weeks ago.

He seemed to have a better command of the offense, which isn't surprising considering he was on those Linehan teams in Detroit. The team appeared to be energized after he completed a few throws. All-in-all he seemed like a Garretesque backup. Somebody who will never overcome his physical limitations but in his short audition seemed heady and able to execute the offense.

A lot of potential as a quality backup. Now that there is actual NFL film on him, we will find out over the next 2 weeks if he can be a backup here.

I will say, his arm strength was nowhere near as bad as I expected. Nice quick release too.
