to put it bluntly Petiti needs to be benched

hmm. it wasn't rob who gave up the one sack that changed the game was it?

there is blame to be shared here.

Yep, and they're going to laugh us all the way out of the playoffs too.

Now who's laughing ? :laugh2: :laugh1:
I guess the informed will get the last laugh.

Ahh, some people will NEVER ever question Bill or his minions. No matter how bad he screws up. The same people who said he was doing a fine job last year as well..........

Alas, let's all say how great a job Bill does running on first ( so predictable the Defense actually takes the handoff in the backfield :p: ) passing short, punting and eventually losing.

Bill never does wrong.....it's still the 80's....Bill's a genius and a champion!!
ALL PRAISE THE MIGHT BILL!!!

And yet you think this guy is right and think Columbo should have started after benching Petitti in this game?

:laugh2:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Parcells the one who assembled this team into something worth watching? Thanks, that's enough for me. I didn't think we'd even be in the playoff race this year, and were still one game away from being back in first place.

in my book we gotta get someone else in there...anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy....13 sacks in 12 games....25 pressures...come on man...and thats with ALOT OF HELP

Well what does that say about the runningbacks and TE"s helping Him also ?

There is nobody else ready right now.

Now I can understand the beef in the offseason...but now is just a waste of my reading time and your keyboard punching.

Hos - you going to debate Petitti has been abused by Strahan and Giants?

I'm his biggest fan, but he's not cutting it. In Fact the whole line can't be proud. I'll say Drew and RB's suck but in that statement - the line is our weak link - JMO

my question to you is how do you know there is no one else? are you on the cowboys staff? you really have no idea who is ready and who is not...all i know is columbo is getting stronger thats what I hear...time for him to get in there..if he cant play the whole game then put him in there for half...

After watching these last few games, I have come to a realization.

This team is a good team. We've got a great defense. We've got talented running backs. We've got a good quarterback. We've got offensive weapons.

What we lack?

An offensive line.

It all comes down to the offensive line. Torrin Tucker is trash, and Rob Pettiti is a complete and utter bum. With these two at offensive tackle, this team is shackled to mediocrity. Tucker and Pettiti are both simply bums who will never amount to anything in the NFL. Sad but true.

I would be the happiest Cowboy fan on the planet if Bill Parcells pushed those two out of the team plane Harrison Ford style.

"Lookit, get off my plane."

My question to you is why don't you contact Parcells with the solution?

He needs your help desperately.

Petitti is not perfect and he's having a rough time, but tell me the solution. No, scratch that, don't tell me. There's not a damned thing I can do about it.

He hasn't been on the a week......He hasn't played football in over a year.....Get serious.

you forgot to talk about how Rivera is overrated and not playing to his promise...

Pettiti has not played too bad and he is a rookie learning a new position. Tucker- well not as good, still its not like we have a whole lot of choice. But the rest of the line has not exactly shined either.

Pettiti is going to be good,he's been getting a
good schooling, but he will be a good one.Patience.

Petitti is not a bum. He's a rookie. What I do think he suffers from is mental fragility in the sense that it seems like he's think "Oh look at Michael Strahan on the other side of me. It's Michael Strahan! Oh no." This is the NFL. If you want to be great, you have to think you're great. He needs to think he can take the guy staring across from him each and everytime. I know Petitti has the physical and mental ability. What I think he lacks is mental toughness. He needs to develop that.

Tucker is average at best - he is our backup so that is not unexpected. I agree about Rivera. He's overhyped and not living anywhere close to his promise.

There is must as much frustration for me over Peterman not getting on the field yet. Rivera got owned today.

LOL...where was this defense for Tucker last year.

Transparent.

Yea, Pettiti got schooled by the guy that is 6 sacks away from passing Lawrence Taylor as the Giants all time sack leader.
I wish Pettiti would of played better but this isn't the first time Strahan has embarassed an offensive tackle.
