Charles Woodson won the Heisman Trophy over Peyton Manning.

Whoop-dee-freaking-doo.

Charles Woodson was the best player in the Nation that year.

All im saying is Nelson had the better year. Landry may be better but he didnt have a better season than Nelson.

there's also a term you should get used to, it's called pro potential

and Landry's is over Nelson's, and it's not like Landry is just a workout warrior, he was pretty good in college

just give up Hos, it's obvious he's dead-set on Nelson over Landry
I like Nelson. Kid's a great story and will be a good pro.

I like him too, but you'll be going back and forth w/ Catch17 for a long while lol

which I know you like so much, but still :)

i think nelson and landry is like ware and merriman, i dont think u can go bad with either guy. but if u want the more level-headed guy then u go with landry

Between Charles Woodson and Peyton Manning who would you rather have to build a team around?

Do the math.

Nelson and Landry aside... I love Hos :)
Aw shucks.

Even though I couldn't get Bailey on the UA softball team? ;)

Whatever happened to her anyway?

Im not arguing the Manning is the better player. Woodson did have the better year though.

Landry may be the better player but Nelson had the better year last year.

I've heard Mayock say some pretty stupid things before. I wouldn't take his word as the gold standard (or even mildly persuasive).
On Mayock saying Hughes was a cover 2 corner, Deion Sanders was also saying it.

Here is the link for the DBs combine 40 times. LaRon Landry ran a 4.34? Smoking!!! Now that's hot. Leon Hall (Michigan) ran a 4.39 and everybody's favorite guy Reggie Nelson ran a 4.56. I know these forty times are overrated but I they are important. What did Roy Williams run at the combine? Six point what?

4.51 for Eric Weddle. That is better then I thought he would run. I really like this player. I'm telling you guys, this is a football player. Somebody is going to be happy with this guy.

No way did Woodson have the better year. There was a HUGE Woodson-hype machine going on.....and there was a group of people that didn't want to see Peyton Manning win the award.

Upon review of that year, most people are now saying that Manning got royally screwed out of the Heisman that year.
