It would be a mistake imo if we fire McCarthy and make him head coach though.

Hes a coordinator. Get him some DTs and Linebackers and let him thrive
Agreed that you can't fire Big Mike!......especially with the way the offense (passing game) is starting to take off. Maybe McCarthy should have been given the reigns to the offense from the get go instead of in year 3! It would have been a well oiled efficient machine with an identity by now!

it would depend heavily upon Quinn's selected coordinators and asst coaches.
It was Quinn that hired Shanahan on as his OC in ATL on their SB bid.
McClay is gonna give him the players needed to exceed.
Management would intervene with keeping 2 to 3 assts. though.
Bones Fassel and TE coach Lunda Wells.

I believe management loves ole Bad to da Bones.

The coach who could win here is Harbaugh. The owner wont give him control so he isnt coming.

1) Raiders and (2) Panthers have already made the move.
3) Commanders and (4) Chargers to do likewise;
5) Bears and (6) Patriots possibly pull the plug?
7) Buccaneers and (8) Saints perhaps give their HCs one more season.
Any of these situations enticing enough for Quinn to leave ..especially if the Cowboys get to the NCCG \ Super Bowl?

I could see it. Quinn brings back Kellen (maybe per Jerry's requirement) and the Texas Coast Offense goes 1 and done :muttley:

Out of all those situations, id choose the Chargers tbh.

They have some talent on Defense and a good young QB

Or just hire a better head coach
