What does being his College's first option have to do with anything? That's an extremely weak argument for what he is today. How many NFL players in the hall of fame weren't their college's first option? A great many of them were late bloomers and had much better professional careers than collegiate careers. You are a quick date, Pollard has what 10 carries in preseason and wasn't the first option on his college team and you are ready to anoint him? Where is your head? Id rather hitch my wagon to a proven runner than a rook that can easily fade back to the bench. But you are correct, I am a huge Zeke fan.
If you think I'm ready to "anoint" Pollard then you haven't been paying enough attention to what I've said about him. I've conceded he's not a 30 carry per game RB like Zeke has proven to be. He'll never fill the shoes of Zeke but he can run the ball well enough to keep the chains moving.
If you are hitching your wagon to Zeke right now then you are going nowhere on a football field.
