You know I agree with you. To me there is no doubt who the better back is. But you can't let defenders get around you like that. He got Dak killed against Tampa. That's what helped Atlanta lose the SB to the Patriots. But I'll still take Pollard.

Another myth. It was Farniok that got beat that got Dak killed. Pollard was simply trying to help out on that play

Better at some things sure. Not so with others as evidenced by the sucking at blocking statement. If you are really honest you would admit that you really can't compare the two since their running styles are vastly different. Zeke is a more punishing runner who is the hammer. Pollard is the more finesse runner who is brought in for his speed. While they both run the ball the similarity ends there. I will even venture to say that neither of them can be successful without the other.

plenty of Backs that can do what zeke does and average 3.5 ypc. Not a lot that can do what Pollard does. Pollard is the more unique talent. I dont think Zeke wears down anyone.

Are those backs on the Cowboys roster today? If not what the hell are we talking about? Zeke is who we have. Is he perfect, no. But he is what we have. Sitting around debating about other RB's being better than Zeke etc etc. is a waste of time.

Zeke: 86 touches 332 yards = 3.86 yards per touch
Pollard: 51 touches 319 yards = 6.25 yards per touch

Zekes production is below league average. Even if Zeke is better in pass protection, their production isn’t close enough for him to be getting more touches. The reason it happens is because Jerry Jones is the owner and he dictates the high draft pick, big contract player get more touches.
Zeke is not going to get the stats haters demand. Hes the kind if back that needs 20+ carries. Km wont do it.
See emmitt smith carries per game. You guys would hate him too....with only 10-15 carries.

No, actually we have been debating it for years. The debate goes on. Although clearly there are only a few Zeke apologists left that can admit they are wrong about ZEke and Pollard. When that day comes, there probably wont be a need to press it home so much.

I don't think anyone will be sad if the Cowboys move on from Zeke in the next few years. He had a few good years but we can get better and younger for much cheaper.

No, he doesn't do fine. He's just not a good blocker. Sometimes he has a good block, but he misses too many. Zeke is one of the best blocking RBs there is.

NO they need to move on after THIS season. I'll be surprised if he is still around. But then again, its Jerry.

Whoever it was, it was LB White that ran right past Pollard and sacked Dak. He swatted him like he was an insect.

Mcgovern got away with a hold but, Hey, i didn't see anything..
I bet you'd see one of the Rams holding on Kupp's TD, if you looked at everyone. I know for a fact you'd see Parsons being held several times.

Blocking is for FB's.

He's good, but his pass protection almost got Rush killed. That's why he doesn't start.

Why pass protect when you can get him out for a dump-off of hot route that can get you 6 pts on a consistent basis. Play smart not the old habit ways.
