Twitter: Tony Pollard Touchdown

That's some weird stat keeping then.. How a guy who is first touched 5 yards downfield was "expected" to only gain 5 yards is beyond me.

I just watched it again.. I was wrong.. Pollard was first touched 8 yards downfield not 5.. and that was by a guy grabbing as his ankles while falling. Seriously what are people watching? It was a great run.. why do we feel the need to embellish it? He broke 5 tackles despite only being touched by 3 defenders.. WTH!?!?!

It was a great run but you're being a tad generous with the broken tackles there. A guy putting a hand on you is not a broken tackle.. And at that only 3 defenders actually touched him.. and that's if you count the guy swatting at the ball at the end.. Clearly that guy was making no effort to make the tackle.. Where did you get 5?
Zeke gets tackled by one arm all the time nowadays

Put it this way, running backs don't win the job by sucking at blocking. Pollard is a change of pace back, he is effective and good for what he is.

Maybe if they didn't sub him out for Zeke so Zeke can block, Pollard can learn how to block.

What are you trying to say exactly.

I don't understand.

Whatever he is, hes better than Zeke. Anyone can see that. If your the OC, who are you giving more carries to Zeke or Pollard? Easy answer.
Who cares. They are a TEAM and a very good one at that.

I appreciate both, Pollard's run swung the momentum back to us, but Zeke did his job as well, pass protection, grinding down the clock, keeping us in 3 and short. I may go as far to say it is the more important role in the grand scheme.

Pollard had 4 broken tackles on that one run. Zeke had 9 total broken tackles for all of 2021. Let that sink in for a minute.

What does that have to do with anything? You are too old to be acting like a high-school girl, jealous about the flaxen hair of the girl sitting in the next row.

in one run Pollard broke more tackles than Zeke in the last 2 games.

You and a few others make yourselves look foolish each time you post. Anyone watching the game saw BOTH backs break tackles; Pollard, happened to break his for a long TD run. Stop making yourselves look dumb posting trivial shtick.

He's good, but his pass protection almost got Rush killed. That's why he doesn't start.
He still is underutilized. I love me some Zeke, but Pollard after that play should have gotten way more touches if not just as a decoy. Moore is a middle of the pack or less OC at this point. I'm over it. Time to move on.

I watched a funny vid of the Mavs where teammates were asked what was annoying about Luka good or bad. One of my favs was if a play worked well, he beats that drum until you prove you can stop it. This was especially prevalent for players that just joined the team.

right. there’s been numerous times the last few weeks we’re zeke looked to have an opportunity to really break something and seems to get tripped up every time.

One play in particular I remember that for Zeke. Probably 4th quarter. Running to the left sideline with a guy behind him on the inside and no one in front of him. Seemed like he kind of got tripped and ran himself out of bounds. Looked like lots of meat left on that bone.
