Romo is getting worse. He's not protecting the ball and he's trying to stand in there instead of moving around. He doesn't seem to be much of a leader. Sure he's got the stats and thats more than I can say for any other QB we've had in 10 years but I have yet to see him step up his play when things are going bad and lift the team on his shoulders. Sure, you can blame the OL, the recievers not catching balls, whatever you want, but the bottom line is do you want a QB that can succeed from time to time under duress or do you want one who only plays well when everything around him is perfect. Romo does not seem to be the former.

Roll your eyes all you want, but so far everything I've said about Romo is true. Until we start winning games down the stretch and in the playoffs, I am 100% right. It would be nice to be proven wrong, though.

He can start by playing well against Pittsburgh. This is Romo's 3rd year now as the starter, and we've probably got our toughest December schedule in 10 years facing him. If he gets through it 3-1 or 4-0, I'll gladly accept that Im wrong about him. However, if we see the same old off-on-off December performances and he has 2-3 clunkers and we go 2-2 or 1-3, then I'm afraid we might be in for that every year as long as he's around.

Did you not notice that we've won since he's been back or what? I mean, this is almost the very definition of him lifting the team on his shoulders after a horrible three week stretch.

Uh, dude, did you not notice we played SF and Seattlol? Two of the more hilariously bad teams in the NFC.

Like I said, he can start proving it to me next week against the Steelers.

Yea I want Romo for MVP not Kurt Warner! Although Warner has really stepped up this season, I think Romo's more exciting.

MVP will come once he gets the sb ring.

Ahh, you left the Foreskins on the road..

Yeah, and he played bleh in that game. Two INTs and the offense could only generate two TDs against the Skins, who have a good defense. Marion Barber was the one that carried the team on his back in that game.

And we also lost in a horrible fashion to the Rams...with Brad at the helm. At least we're beating teams we're supposed to beat.

Yeah, great. Now lets start beating the teams when it matters most.

Like the earlier poster said, your agenda is sooo obvious. You're entertaining tho..

I'm done arguing with you Agenda Boy. Do you have a secret power?

So far no one has even tried to refute anything I've said. All you guys can come up with are little snide remarks.

The numbers speak for themselves.

The record down the stretch speaks for itself.

The playoff performances speak for themselves.

The picture ain't pretty.

So, my agenda is soooooooo obvious. Yeah, no kidding. Sharp as a tack, this one. I came right out and told you what I think of Romo and why.

Argue? You didn't even try to argue.

Subtitute CrazyCowboy says: Go Romo! Go Cowboys!

ha! if we go 4-0 or 3-1, OR win a playoff game, ill gladly put that quote as my sig so it will live forever. I may not LOVE AND WORSHIP Romo like the rest of this board, but I would rather my team win and be wrong about a player than lose or tread water and be "correct".

lol

So romo isnt a good player and we should look to replace him or something?

LOL.

your using the skins game as a measurement. They have a terrific defense and they had to play with a heavy wind that affected both teams. And when washington went out of the game, we were able to get the edge in the running game and barber made them pay for it.

and last time I checked, romo threw and absolutely perfect pass to bennet that was the game winner!!

any cowboys fan that complains about romo, needs to look around the league and see the sorriness most teams have at qb right now. You will change your tune real fast. People who come on here and call him fumble fingers and a choker etc....are plain goofy.

After seeing what this team looks like without him, I don't know how anyone could underestimate or underappreciate Romo again.

It's like night and day.

This team has had problems in December dating back to 2003. There's no question it has a habit of slumping late in the year, regardless of who is playing QB or who is coaching. The problem has been bigger than Romo.

I believe he'll do his part this year, but I have less confidence in the coaching staff and some of the other players.
