You have a point about Romo. He hasn't won a playoff game much less a SB. But then you can say that about any QB before they won one.

You need to see the difference between Eli Manning and Tony Romo. Yes, Eli has a ring. So does our backup QB. Are either or were either as good as Tony Romo. Nope. Not even the Buffalo game last year. Of should I say esp because of the Buffalo game last year.

But Tony does need to win one here. And this team has the potential to do it. We are weak at safety. We are currently weak at RB. We have been weak on STs. I'm not certain where we stand on the OL depth wise. We could have better MLBs but they would have to be big, fast and very good football players. Otherwise we are loaded.

Romo needs to take this team to at least the CC game if not the SB. Then win one.

We need to go at least 2-2 and likely 3-1 to get into the playoffs. Then we'll see.

your using the skins game as a measurement. They have a terrific defense and they had to play with a heavy wind that affected both teams. And when washington went out of the game, we were able to get the edge in the running game and barber made them pay for it.

and last time I checked, romo threw and absolutely perfect pass to bennet that was the game winner!!

any cowboys fan that complains about romo, needs to look around the league and see the sorriness most teams have at qb right now. You will change your tune real fast. People who come on here and call him fumble fingers and a choker etc....are plain goofy.

Hey, I edited it to include the situation where we can be disappointing in december, make the playoffs, and win a playoff game! If anything, i've made the terms less favorable for myself!

none of the players are above criticsm. Not even romo. He has had some braindead moments.

That is not how you are portraying him however. You keep harping on playoff games and turnovers. The guy is a winner. We are a 500 team at best without him. You should appreciate him.

He has taken this team to the playoffs 2 years in a row and if this level of effort and determination stays consistent it will be 3 years in a row. We have won the division. He has made a pro bowl. These are all stepping stones. He is a growing player who has been in every situation but a superbowl. These are all positives for us.

Anyways, all Romo has to do is keep doing what he's been doing, except this time against good teams late in december when the whether is cold and it matters most and prove me wrong, and you will never hear anyone criticize Romo for folding down the stretch again. What? Romo was absolutely AWFUL. Everyone knows here i'm no Romo fan, and I think we will be slightly disappointed in his play this season.

I am. But I was one that thought Tony Romo was nothing special to begin with. I dont know if he'll be horrible next year, but I am fairly certain he won't be as awesome as when he bursted on the scene in 06.

Romo is picking up right where he left off. Playing terribly.

I don't think Romo is anything special or will ever BE anything special.

I am of the opinion that Tony Romo clearly showed he isn't the OMG WOW franchise QB that people were thinking of after his first few games by the way he played for an entire month + to close out the season. Is he a flash in the pan and is he REALLY this bad?
