If losing a sporting event is the worse thing that ever happens to me,i have had a wonderful life.He said that at the post game press conference.I like Romo but that statement bothers me.

Hell,i live and die with these guys and thats his attitude.Where is the anger, where is the frustration? That is why i love a player like Ray Lewis so much. When his team loses he is pissed.

I would have punched a hole in the wall, thrown a trashcan, and dropped f bombs every third word in my press interview.

Dude, I don't think he "enjoys" losing or is indifferent to it. He's getting philosophical about it. There are a billion things worse than losing.

Problem is, we care about the loss, Romo cares about the loss, but what are you gonna do?? You can't shoot someone or jump off a bridge. You just move on.

ech, this sucks.

Its a losers mentality. Unfortunately it is his head coach's mentality.

But honestly, ask yourself, could you EVER hear Roger Staubach or Troy Aikman make a statement like that?

Roger who couldn't stand to lose a ping pong game?

Aikman, whom Moose Johnston described as the most competitive person he has ever met? Darren Woodson said that Aikman was all about winning.

I honestly believe it is time to draft a QB and get ready for 3 or 4 years down the road. Romo has a lot of good abilities, and I hope for better from him, but that kind of talk is absolute nonsense after a loss like that.

Is it true? Yes. Do you say that at this time? No And someone better teach him that, and I hate that he could actually FEEL that way after such a loss. that is the kind of stuff you say after you have reflected and the hurt of a loss goes away, not at a post game podium.

They dont care dude.i dont anymore either. They are losers.end of story.look at my sig, that man cares about his team.works his tail off, willing to take a paycut to get a good player in 2010.thats a real team guy.

He said this again today? If I remember correctly he said the same thing after the seahawks playoff loss.

Wasn't the concern with Steve Young at one point that he might have been too smart -- too high a Wonderlic score, too much he was good at outside of football ... ? The concern being that football might not be the end all, be all with him?

Romo's a real philosophical guy and obviously intelligent. I do think he cares, but quotes like these make me wonder if he might be a little "too" smart at times in terms of football not being the only thing in his life.

QFT gents. He makes his million and still shags Jessica: all is well in his world. The guy has been exposed: and then some...........

I believe Aikman's quote concerning the playoffs was something to the extent of "What I love about the playoffs is the finality of it all." I think the quote continues that it's the time of year where you know what you're about and no excuses can be made.

His statement is 100% right. Or maybe he should get a AK-47 and kill his entire offensive line. Would that be the appropriate action?

Romo's right but you don't want your starting QB saying that after a season ending loss.

sure you can... there are plenty of bridges to jump off and guns to fire.

texan_by_birth, Romo is more crushed than you will ever be over what happened today. He had to compose himself after a horrendous performance by himself and his teammates. He had also just collapsed, so he had a different perspective than he normally would've. I refuse to believe that these guys don't care. They do care and that's what makes it all so disturbing.

Sure. But that is just because you are really immature.

Romo had the same mentality in 06... it's not Wade.

The guy will be with Jessica in Cabo before the end of the week. Life is good. Winning would've been nice, I'm sure. But man, we're talking about Cabo and Jessica. Dontcha understand?

I bet if Romo acted like a WWE wrestler "Ultimate Warrior", we would have won today.

Just because Romo said something that most optimistic people say when things go wrong, doesn't mean losing isn't killing him.

I can't believe people put so much stock into what people say as opposed to really looking at what actually happened on the football field. People talk the talk, especially on a forum or in the media (the biggest talkers), and I'm certain they can't walk the walk.

Actually... the problem is... the guys playing against Romo dont feel that way after a loss.

Romo wont win anything for us going the philosophical route.
