Romos' mental capacity and insecurities ("I'm comfortable in my own skin")are what will keep him from winning on the highest level. His skills are good enough-his brain is not.

I will never understand why fans hold what these players and coaches say in press' to heart. I will never understand it. What a player or coach tells the media doesn't necessarily reflect on what they may really think outside of the press.

I'm sure having a horrible offensive line has nothign to do with it. And i'm not even a Romo apologist but i'm not sure what you expect from a guy running for his life 80% of the game.

his press conference really worried me. He really seems like he doesn't care about it like he should. He is talking about it like it was a neighborhood pick up game or something. He needs to realize it is his JOB. He is getting paid to help this team win. This is a business not a neighborhood game.

his press conference tells everything we knew week 1...

this team was poorly prepared, poorly coached, EXPOSED and suffered with too many distractions.

you guys bashing romo (while fluffing jerry & co.) need to get a clue.

Agreed......My take is this team almost made playoffs purely on talent alone on the Off. side of the ball.......When Tony Saprano got away, so did any semblence of Offensive preparation and dicipline. Jim Johnson made a fool of Garrett this afternoon..........

Would you rather Romo be like Vince Young and just flip out when you start getting booed and your head coach has to call the police to put an APB out on your arse at 4 AM in the morning???

I actually want my QB to have thick skin and brush off the losses and not freaking lose it like Vince Young.

But thats just me.

I would have punched a hole in the wall, thrown a trashcan, and dropped f bombs every third word in my press interview.

And none of that would make you a better player.

why would the guy care about losing? he’s got the big fat contract, he knows the cowboys are stuck with him, and will stick with him, he knows he’s the franchise, and no matter what, he’ll be playing in a brand new stadium. once training camp starts he knows he’s the starting qb. so who cares abt losing a game that means going to the playoffs or going home? His job is secure. That’s all there is to it.

two years under wade, romo’s got the same attitude as him. its in this same breath when wade said that even though the giants beat team, theyre still the better team, because theyre 13-3, they have 13 pro bowlers, yada yada…and you’re still surprised romo says these things?! Wade has successfully bought in his philosophy and taught it to romo. Good job.

I heard Romo collapsed in the shower after the game last night. Does anyone know if there's something seriously wrong with him? He hasn't acted like himself for several games now. I also don't think he got enough protection last night so the loss wasn't on him alone. In fact, no one person wins or loses a ball game...it takes all players all the time in every ball game.
