The top 10, as it currently stands does rely on the opinion of others to discuss how it will change in the future. We see the schedule for each team, some harder than others, Like the 8-2 Titans for example. They should easily earn the AFC 1 seed at the end of the regular season yet many believe they aren't even a top 10 team and don't belong in the playoffs.Your top 10 doesn’t rely on opinions, only records. We got it. Drop your mic and move on so the rest can discuss their opinions. Otherwise it comes off like your attempting to control the dialogue or simply troll the thread cause others disagree.
I don't think they would move a playoff game due to temperature. That's my concern. The league is different now. They wouldn’t play the game in those conditions today. Or anything close to those. Didn’t they move a Buffalo game in the past few years because of extreme weather?
It’s not really “bad” weather issue. I’m talking about something like the Ice Bowl where it was 15 below at kickoff. Lance Rentzel talked about Meredith having a hard time calling plays because his jaws were freezing up. It’s a safety issue for the players, but also the fans in attendance. Games get delayed now due to lightening that weren’t in the Ice Bowl era. Delaying a playoff game a couple of days probably wouldn’t happen because if the inherent disadvantage. But could see the game being moved to Minneapolis or Chicago unless it was against one of those teams. No, there is no clause for moving bad weather playoff games. I can’t imagine .
But they did move a regular season game back in 2014 to Detroit because Jets couldn’t fly in due to weather which immobilized the city.
No. This is a terrible list. Steelers? LOL. Patriots ahead of Bucs? LOL. Packers at the top? No.1. Packers
2. Titans
3. Cardinals
4. Cowboys
5. Rams
6. Patriots
7. Bucs
8. Bills
9. Chiefs
10. Steelers
I think the Packers have this Super Bowl. They have the best defense, or at least best coached defense and probably the best coaching staff in the league.
The Titans have beaten more good teams than any other team in the league.despite their record titans are not even top 7. they will be like last years steelers. not going to do anything with that qb.
That doesn’t take the opponents into account. A lot of wins against bad teams isn’t as telling as wins against better teams.IMO, it's a purely mathematical question. Everyone has biases for certain teams that we can argue forever about. Rather than do that I think it's better to just rank them by win percentage and do away with the biases and arguments.
Point out ONE person that doesn’t believe the Titans are a Top 10 team. As far as belonging in the playoffs, you either get in or you don’t. They will and are extremely deserving, especially considering the quality of their wins. Anyone that doesn’t believe they’re a top 10 team simply has no clue and should be ignored as football dumb. The top 10, as it currently stands does rely on the opinion of others to discuss how it will change in the future. Lightening delays are to protect life. Can’t see any type of delay or moving unless of the type of immobilized situation where teams can’t fly or drive into city and or venue. It’s not really “bad” weather issue. If GB grabs the one seed they are going to be tough to beat.
They certainly have the best defensepackers have the best defense and best coaching staff? lol what?
Since there is no top 10 ranking officially in the NFL it does rely on opinions .The top 10, as it currently stands does rely on the opinion of others to discuss how it will change in the future. All you can do is beat the teams put on your schedule. You shouldn't be punished because the schedule makers gave you an easier schedule. That doesn’t take the opponents into account. A lot of wins against bad teams isn’t as telling as wins against better teams.
They certainly have the best defense
Nor should you be rewarded over more deserving/accomplished teams..All you can do is beat the teams put on your schedule. You shouldn't be punished because the schedule makers gave you an easier schedule.
That was a discussion on one of the morning sports talk shows.Point out ONE person that doesn’t believe the Titans are a Top 10 team. If they were questioning whether the Titans were a Top 10 team, I recommend you change the channel. That was a discussion on one of the morning sports talk shows.
True you can only beat who’s on your schedule but an easier schedule could provide an explanation into why we might not rank them as high as they aren’t as tested. All you can do is beat the teams put on your schedule. You shouldn't be punished because the schedule makers gave you an easier schedule.
You are such a prisoner of the moment. The Chiefs suck this year. Dominating the Raiders doesn't change that fact. They are a bad team. You'll be surprised when the Cowboys kick the crap out of them next week.Since there is no top 10 ranking officially in the NFL it does rely on opinions .
As far as the Titans they were in AFC championship game last year and should be earning more respect although with Henry out I can see why some might be wary.
Personally I still like the Bills and possibly the Chiefs if they can continue current play. They were looking iffy. And I wouldn’t count Ravens out. But those are my top 4 currently in AFC. Subject to change .
