I am with BigDog and BigStar on this one. I have never heard of most of those places, lol, although they all are very beautiful. I have also never been to any of those places. I was excited to click on the link, because I just knew Miami was going to be there, and I was going to be able to say, I've been there! lol.
Went to West Palm Beach for a couple of weeks with my mom back in '74 or '75 to visit her best friend, she took us over to Miami, got to swim in the most beautiful water I've ever seen, you could actually see clear to the ocean floor and there were dolphins swimming right next to us. So cool. The sand was so hot, though, it burned through my flipflops and they had to carry me. I was only 5 or 6 yrs old at the time. We also went to the coolest Zoo I have ever been to, called Wild Country Safari. All of the animals were allowed to roam in a free, but controlled environment, no cages and no concrete, just acres and acres, miles of natural landscape, wildlife everywhere, they were so content, like they didn't even know they were contained. It was beautiful. It really looked like we were in Africa. You had to stay in your car, of course, except for the river boat ride, but man, it was so awesome. To this day, it is the most fascinating place I have ever been. It forever changed my view of Nature, zoos, and the treatment of captive wildlife.
I'll never forget that trip to Florida. First and only time I ever went far away from home, rode on a plane, saw "happy" African wildlife, swam with dolphins, or drank milk from a coconut right off the tree (in the lady's front yard, that was really cool.)
