While it's true that the Saints, Packers and Niners look like the top 3 teams in the NFC right now, the season is still long and there is a lot left to go. We've seen teams that look great for the first have of the season collapse and go on a losing streak at the 2nd half of the season and have their playoff berth in doubt. Just like we have teams look bad to average in the first half of the season and go on a hot streak in the 2nd half of the season, which sometimes carries them all of the way to a Superbowl win.

I still believe that the Cowboys have the talent to beat just about any team in the NFL, if they play up to their full potential on both sides of the ball. So we shall see how the rest of the season goes.

Looks like the 49ers, Packers and Saints will battle it out for the top 3 seeds.

Best case scenario is the Cowboys at #4 and getting a team like the Rams or Vikings at home. Maybe they win. Maybe they don't.

If they win, they get slammed on the road the following week.

In other words, another typical Jason Garrett year. And that's the best case. We may not make the playoffs at all if the Eagles start rebounding.

Maybe that's for the best. Garrett would have to be gone if they miss the playoffs, wouldn't he?
