He was the other half of a great LB tandem with AJ Hawk at Ohio State.

AJ Hawk is now in Green Bay and while he's gotten more playing time there than Carpenter has in Dallas, he is also seen as being somewhat of an underachiever...You hear similar things about him there as you hear about Carpenter here.

I guess the sum of their parts was greater than their contributions as individuals.

He must have been the brain of the outfit, because he sure doesn't do much.

Unfortunately, Barbie is not any type of LB, he simply lack the physicality to play defense. He plays like he doesn't want to get dirty.

Yeah, I pretty sure with a couple more years of developement he's going to come around and then we're going to prove just how adept we were for drafting him!
OH, btw, I figured out what sport he should excel in, dodgeball because he stays away from all hard contact. He isn't getting involved around that ball at all costs!!!

always has something to say even tho he contributes nothing and is a joke amoung most of his teammates.

You usually have a clean jersey when you play on artificial turf.

All of that aside, he's made a few good plays, but he's so slow, and takes horrendous angles. He looks like he's running in a jar of molasses.
