Trade for a RB

Holmes had over 1500 yds his first year in KC. He also had over 1,000 yds his 2nd year in the league.

The only reason Holmes was even in KC and not longer Balt was the drafting of Jamal Lewis. Priest wasn't as well known before he blew up in KC, but he wasn't a scrub. He was a street FA when he signed with Baltimore. He was a FA after his contract with the Ravens ended and they didn't want to pay him starter money to be a backup to Lewis.

No one mentioned so far in this thread is anywhere near what Priest was when the Chiefs got him.

I did not know that. I was just judging from eye sight. Football Speed; Randle just looks like he can get going quicker and faster then DM. When running the football.....

He can.

Where is this Randle is fast coming from???

He ran a 4.52 forty
Murray ran a 4.4

Randle actually ran a 4.63 at the combine. His 4.52 came at his pro day. Pro day forties are always around a 10th faster.

Murray ran a 4.41 at the combine.

I didn't want to be accused of 'cherry picking' the numbers, but thanks for the clarification

yes it is

I'll trust the official timers and not your eyes

If you don't think there is a difference between game speed and track speed, then you're coming to this conversation at a significant knowledge disadvantage.

Whatever you need to tell yourself

They measure speed the same way on the track so they can compare them to each other

Game speed is a made up excuse for guys that don't run fast enough

Randle may have some quickness but he isn't faster than Murray

This is ridiculous. First of all, look at a players running style. Murray has a completely different poster and stance running on the field than he did running on the track. If he ran with the same body movements and poster on the track as he does on the field, he'd probably run a 4.7

Randle's running style on the field is much closer to his track running style.

Do you even watch the games, bro?

If you ask them to line up and run, Murray is faster. That is how you gauge speed. Not by the 'eye' test.

Yes. It covers you in case "The Cowboys didn't even try to keep him" or "The Cowboys just let him go" crowd shows up.

It seems to me, the FO isnt really too concerned about what any crowd is saying.

12-4/ lead the league in rushing/ put up 1800, breaking the ss record/ captured new fans/ great leader/ good chemistry with teammates/valued by top teammates/ still young................

FO said.... mehh. not good enough; Lets give this Randle guy a shot....why not?

Every one

I just don't make things up to fit a predetermined agenda

Well if Murray runs a 4.4, then every linebacker and defensive backs that has chased him down from behind must run at 4.39 or better. That's literally dozens of linebackers and Dbs. How many linebackers and Dbs are in the league with that capability? Not even dozens. Weird.

Sounds like you are inflexible in the face of logic.
