Daunte Cuulpepper or Jay Cutler........................

Why would you trade Romo......what do you have left if Bledsoe gets injured?

That isn't the question. You are assuming that Henson can't play.

Though I don't know if he's the second coming of Tom Brady, it was the only 'keep' option.

If we vote to keep him, why does he have to be the second coming of Tom Brady?

Why can't he be the second coming of Joe Montana?

Just kidding! :D

But seriously, I think your poll is flawed because if anyone chooses to accept Romo as the possible future of the team, they are automatically labeled as homers instead of folks who have watched all the QBs come and go, and fairly think that Romo has shown the best abilities.

If you trade the 2nd string QB, you're obviously assuming that Henson can play.

And absolutely none of the poll options are even on the radar screen right now.

Well, this is the Cowboys. IF we don't have a star QB we will never be happy. Brady, Montana, Peyton, one of those is what we expect in Dallas. Even Blesoe, who is arguably and HoF QB, hasn't tickled everyone's behind.

I put the Brady thing up because we expect a QB of that calibur, and if Romo is to be the next starter, that is what I expect.

BTW, I want to trade 'em all for a chance to get Brady Quinn.

If the price is right you trade any player on the team.

In 1989 we had 1 superstar and a lot of kids. That superstar's name was Herschell Walker.

If anyone tells me they wouldn't trade any player on this team if the price was right they have forgotten how much a trade can build a team.

I'm not saying hold out for another Mike Lynn thank you for all the draft picks trade. I'm saying if the price is right, and that is open to debate, you seriously consider every trade offer.

If the price isn't right, reject it and move on.

Tony Romo and all the rest of the players are not above being shopped. No one is that great.

I'd take a 1st round choice for him, or a 2nd and a 3rd, but there isn't any way another team would make that trade. And, frankly, no other team should make that trade.

Romo is worth more to the Cowboys than he's worth to other teams.

A valid assumption at this point

Why do you say that? He didn;t play yesterday so he is a bust? Then so is Bledsoe!

This isn't a hate Henson thing. I personally think he can play. If Bledsoe goes down, neither Romo nor Henson will get us there. So what does it matter which is the backup?

what is this idiotic facination with having to trade players?

ANY PLAYER?????

good god, coakley got traded on a daily basis for anything from a pick, to a player, to a twinkie and now ellis...and since that's not looking likey, the very second romo shows anything at all, he's freaking trade bait to some.

if he can play at LEAST backup - WE NEED HIM!

geez people. this is NOT madden football!!!

Actually, it does. Even if one is incapable of leading anyone to the Super Bowl, if one can manage the game, they will have a place on a Bill Parcells team.

Right now, like it or not, it appears Romo has separated himself from Henson in that regard.

A valid assumption because Henson has been unimpressive both in his NFL start and his time in Europe, as well as last preseason

At this point, Romo is the much better QB

Not if there is an injury in camp. If a starter gets hurt near opening day, someone will come shopping for Romo. It could be a sweet situation to be in.
