Trade Romo?

They are talking to you? But do you see them? Ahhh, I dodn't think so.

And no, I am not for trading Romo unless we get (insert option here).
What would you want is all I am asking.

Is that such a silly question? (I am going to regret asking that!)

no i just like to sing vague 80's tunes to see who gets it.

i don't think he's been put into a position to be given this opportunity that romo had last night.

in chicago, he was not supported, it was a "shut the media up" move. vinnie being hurt was a lie and it was never really about supporting henson as much as shutting up mediaoits.

in nfle - true, he faced lower competition, but it's not as if he was surrounded by simliar talent that romo had last night.

it just seems to me you excuse the "x-factors" when it helps you and you use the hell out of the same vague x-factors when it again, helps you and your argument.

What "x-factors" has Henson showcased

Please don't anyone answer him. If you care about this forum please don't answer him. It will be about as useful as trying to reverse the flow of a river.

It's a legit question, though not one I expect an answer to, as Henson hasnt showcased any of the poise Romo has

No matter what answer is given you won't accept it and will just escalate this nonsense. We know the drill.

This wont happen because there is no answer to be given

so vinnie was really hurt but suddenly healed at 1/2 time to come in?

so it's either a miracle cure or a conpsiracy.

Though I don't know if he's the second coming of Tom Brady, it was the only 'keep' option.

Exactly, why would we trade him for some one like Ramsey when he is better then Ramsey. Looks like Dallas may have finally developed a QB with some ability and now people want to trade him. Maybe Im jaded because Ive been a big Romo fan since last pre-season but I like his arm, poise and mobility. I still think he reminds me alot of Steve Young.

iceberg, slowly back away from the voices saying "Henson is going to be a top NFL quarterback".

Sit down at your desk, get out a sheet of paper, push the half empty bottles of Jose Cuervo and Vicodin aside, and proceed to write down the following in large bold letters:

"I am angry at_____________(insert name of person or persons)for going on and on about how great Drew Henson is and how much potential he has. I felt powerless under their persuasion.

I was ambivilent about my opinion about Henson until _______________(insert name of person or persons)convinced me that Henson was, in fact, the next great Cowboy quarterback.

Now because of my renewed dedication to my higher power, Bill Parcells; I have come to the realization that ______________(insert name of person or persons)was wrong and none of this was ever my fault.

My newly found wisdom leads me to follow the TRUE next great Dallas Cowboy quarterback - Tony Romo.

You loss. XBox is TEH AWESOME!!!

The rumor was we rejected a 3rd rounder. Since it hasn't been collaborated by anyone, I am going to go ahead and assume its false. Therefore, there is no established market value for him.

I answered with what it would take to get me to move Romo. If I was offered a 3rd rounder, I'd be highly tempted. Romo looked nice yesterday.

But that doesn't mean it wasn't a fluke. (And for the Romo nut-riders, it could also be a sign of things to come).

However, I am of the "wait and see" before I start lobbying for a QB who has played one great preseason game.

Silly, I know...but hey, I am not perfect.

Thank you for the analysis. This is what I was hoping to find out from everyone. I tend to agree with you, but we do need a backup if Bledsoe gets hurt, so Romo has more value than last year.

Every time I read your posts, I saw a persuasive argument for building the Cactus Curtain on the U.S. Mexico border! :D
