We have Salarycapologist on this board.....and now we got General Managers.....I'm applying for the OC role if KMoore can't duplicae a balanced game like yesterday. I get it, conversations. All good.

But maybe we can trade Parsons and get 2-3 generational players or at least core contributors in exchange for just 1? And not have to pay Parsons in only 2 years?

What would Bill Belichick do? #WWBBD

Belechek doesn't trade "generational" players or HOF caliber players. He builds around them and trades the other guys.

We have too many pass rushers... As evidenced by the sack totals. We are legit 6-7 deep at the EDGE spot all of which get consistent pressure.

What we don't have is WRs and TEs who can both block and be dynamic in the passing game and catch consistently and get open. Dak struggles on 3rd downs because his WRs and TEs not named Lamb have a hard time getting open and separating.

Good idea or no? Maybe we can deal Sam Williams on his potential, Tank and his contract, idk what contract Fowler will take to re-sign... Basham is expendable, and Armstrong's contract is fairly inexpensive for production so maybe we can package him up as well. Parsons?? I think he's an elite talent and would fetch at least 2 premium first rounders or better, and maybe a top end WR or TE as well.

Thoughts??
No damned way should we even remotely think about trading Williams. He’s going to be a star. I’m not even going to discuss trading Parsons. That’s braindead territory.

Honestly bruh, You should have to take a timeout on the bench for mentioning Parsons and a trade. I feel weird just having to tell you.

Actually The Hoodie wanted to trade Brady in the later years with the Patriots. The ownership killed that one. But it would have probably the right move. Brady would have probably better 3 first round picks and change.
LATER being the operative word. If Micah Parson had three good years left in the league after 10 good ones, I'd trade him for multiple draft picks too.
But you don't do that to generational players entering their second contracts UNLESS they are so dysfunctional in personality or behavior that their issues force you to get rid of them.

Deadline is long gone.

That, and the Cowboys identity is their ability to stop the pass, if they get lucky enough to first stop the run.

And injuries happen, so no, I'm not down with this, particularly because Gallup is coming along..

Give the guy some time to recover.. Sheesh.

Terrible idea. The pass rush is what will win a Super Bowl.

if it was me i require more than just players i need 10% of all their jersey sales, 25% of concession, and they have to put all my starters on their payroll while they play for me

so pretty much those will be my demands and im sure theyll hang up on me midway through them

Yes, my demands would have them hanging up on me too. You want Micah Parsons then give me Patrick Mahomes.

Too late. Trade deadline has passed.
Unless you are projecting ahead to next season - 2023 - your post is moot.
