We have too many pass rushers... As evidenced by the sack totals. We are legit 6-7 deep at the EDGE spot all of which get consistent pressure.

What we don't have is WRs and TEs who can both block and be dynamic in the passing game and catch consistently and get open. Dak struggles on 3rd downs because his WRs and TEs not named Lamb have a hard time getting open and separating.

Good idea or no? Maybe we can deal Sam Williams on his potential, Tank and his contract, idk what contract Fowler will take to re-sign... Basham is expendable, and Armstrong's contract is fairly inexpensive for production so maybe we can package him up as well. Parsons?? I think he's an elite talent and would fetch at least 2 premium first rounders or better, and maybe a top end WR or TE as well.

Thoughts??

Awful idea! You never have enough pass rushers. We have the best pass rush in the entire league and it would be foolish to mess with it. Fans have been dreaming of a pass rush like this for years. This could end up being the best pass rush the Cowboys have ever had. We have a solid pass receiving TE in Dalton, Schultz, and we have a couple of young promising TEs. As for a WR we’ll draft one.

Why do we eat to get rid of so many good players!?. We always want to make good positions worse lol. How about we keep our good young talent and sign FA wrs no need to trade if not NECCESSARY

NO...can't ever have too many pass rusher or CB's.

Our WR's and TE's are fine. Yes, we could use OBJ, to improve. But the WR group is not horrible like many want to believe.
I agree and I actually like the young Tight Ends

This is the most preposterous thread premise I've read on this board in 18+ years of following it.

So you would trade a generational talent(Parsons) for two 1st round pics which are likely to be busts or average players? You are either on dope or dogsh*t.

I doubt that would be acceptable to MM. Its going to take a quick playoff exit to unseat MM.
I hope then that the quick playoff exit happens but it's because of bad clock management, bad coaching decisions etc and bad offensive coordination, and we lose some kind of 10-7 type of game where the only touchdown we allow is on a bad pick six by Prescott
