Going to have a real possibility to draft any of those players. Which would be your selection? Seems like Walker love has cooled nationally. Hunter is dealing with injuries. McMillan’s team is awful and Jeanty is your classic question of how valuable is a RB?

Good problem to have. All things equal for me it’s between McMillan and Walker. Rare athletes that can play are few and far between on this team.

A great problem to have. Any one of them would be great.
The Cowboys have never had success without a stud RB so Im taking Jeanty.

I wouldn't rule out Shaduer Sanders as long as Jerry is the war room. We seen Atlanta do the same thing with Cousins and Penix. With Dak looking like he's slowing down physically I wouldn't rule out having Shaduer backing up Dak for a few years and then taking over in the future. Jerry would break the internet with that pick on draft night.

DT, DE or OT.

WR or RB with a top 15 pick would be nothing but trying to put a band-aid on a gaping wound.

Hunter is special. I think he is a Patrick Peterson, Charles Woodson type corner. Legit All-Pro, Hall of Fame type potential.

The injuries are cropping up because he's literally playing 100-120 snaps every game with no rest. It's the football equivalent of working 16 hour shifts for 2 months. He'll play 60 snaps a week in the league and be fine.

If he isn't the first non-QB taken, something has gone wrong. I see him and Jeanty as the two blue chippers this year, and obviously, you prioritize the CB if you're given the choice.

there are quite a few terrible teams currently. i'm not certain we'll leapfrog most even on our current trajectory

Hunter is the best overall player. That is who the Cowboys should pick.

If Saunders is available I can’t see how the Cowboys would not take him. Just brings to much attention to the franchise.

Not to be negative, but it doesn't really matter. This offseason they will prop a coaching change, a top 15 pick, more internal changes, and a new sponsorship. None of it will matter. This franchise isn't going anywhere.

But the answer is DE and DT. This defense (with Quinn) was built on pressure. Pressure creates opportunities for an opportunistic secondary. There is not a certainty Lawrence is back next year and we have no if Williams can play or if he will be able to get back from a torn ACL. DT is obviously a huge need. We need two starting players. Probably one of our top 2 picks and a good free agent. Overshown has shown he is explosive and they have some other ok options. They need guys in front of them that allow them to do what they do.

There are so many holes though.

I feel like by the time the season comes to an end, the biggest need for this team will be a legitimate pass rushing threat opposite Parsons. But, if there is an impact DT in this draft, a Dexter Lawrence type player, they have to take him.

Consider this though. It might take a DE 1 year to show his potential. I could take a DT 2 or 3 years to show his potential. There is no quick fix in the draft for Dallas.

Also, I am worried the Cowboys will pass on the DT because of how Mazi turned out.

Agree…question is what is mindset on continuing to play WR? I think CB is his calling card and if he’s committed to that I’d pick him.

If not McMillan would be my pick.

I hope the FO doesn’t think trading for Mingo inhibits the taking a top WR
