Objective facts of the matter don’t require thinking. They just exist, just like Dak having his 2nd team “all pro” season against statistically the worst pass defenses in the league. SF chose Purdy over Sam Darnold and Trey Lance. Dak is a 10 year vet, who's a proven choker in the playoffs.
If we play Lance the last 4 games and he plays well, he becomes unaffordable, especially with Dak at 250M. They way they did it, we can sign Lance as the backup.

Trance desperately needs experience. So let's sit him on the bench, so we can keep his cost down. Then we can resign, to then sit him back on the bench behind Dak, so he can watch and learn.
