Do you really believe mm wouldn’t have approved of the lance trade? Give me a break. Lance is a night and day difference then Grier. Teams have to carry 3 qbs on the roster anyways. This was a no brainer. The only way I could see mike not approving is if we gave up more than a 4th.
MM is an employee. Jerry does not have to consult him. Rest assured, MM would have loved the trade.

Lol, I’m traveling right now and have been sitting in a car with someone else driving. Trey has been a great distraction. I’d be bored out of my mind if we didn’t trade for this guy.
Lucky you. And The Cowboys. Fans will be ready for him to be the starter after they see him throw a complete pass in practice.

I know we are all hoping for DC to be successful (except for the sheagles trollers in the site....lol) IMO I feel like this is a positive move and also may create a sense of urgency for No. 4. DC gave a 4th rounder for Lance to audition for starting QB whenever that may occur.

GO COWBOYS!

my bold prediction, dak will be worried about not running anymore and will take a risk and injure himself running into a ref. Rush flourishes and Trey gets to come in and get some work after Rush has us very far ahead. :)

Ultimately, yes. Or at least try to.

Jerry is enamored with shiny, highly rated first round draft picks, especially those ranked in a similar way on his own team’s draft board. This was a steal of a deal based off of that alone.

I don’t think Jerry would’ve considered this trade if he felt confident in Dak’s ability in the playoffs. Remember last year how he responded after the defeat to the 49ers. That was the second year in a row for Dak where he disappointed in Jerry’s eyes, where he felt the play of other parts of the team were sufficient (e.g., the defense) to win the game.

This is a pure potential move and it may not work out, but it’s chump change to Jerry in terms of risk reward for him. He’s normally a guy who doesn't shy away from high risk and high reward. In this trade he got the potential for the latter without the former.

Trick question.

Your sole criteria are championships. Nothing wrong with that but you should just come out and repeat what you have already said are 'skins' for an acceptable quarterback.
You take championships out of it and he still has nothing on his wall.

A ROY from 8 years ago when Zeke was robbed and a Walter Payton MOY award?

I'm not impressed and neither should anybody be.

That was your opinion before you posted a trick question.

Not sure if anyone is equating career accolades with what they believe has achieved on the field.

Guess how many people, who regularly read the Fan Zone, comprehend that is your one and only opinion?

The answer is everyone who has read your posts in the past and now.
