Personally, I haven't seen any sign that Lance can play at all.

I agree. We know what Dak is. He’s an above average regular season QB and not good in win or go home games. We have no idea what Lance is. I kind of want to find out. Because a QB that underperforms in win or go home games is a waste of time.

The 49ers coaching staff gave up trying to develop Trey Lance after investing multiple draft picks to get him.

So do we really trust this staff or anyone else Jerry hires to turn him into a franchise quarterback?

I get the Dak angst after yesterday but Cowboys fans that hate him need to prepare themselves for at least another year of hate.

Dak is a good quarterback. Let’s stop pretending he is not. He played as a top 3 quarterback all season long. I just think it has been 8 years and we paid him a big contract once before. It just might be time for a change. Dak could be like Stafford was for Detroit for a team like Pittsburgh or Atlanta. Dak would do well in both places.

Sign Flacco to back up and let Lance play. Play Flacco if Lance sucks. Its better to take a step back in order to take two steps forward. With Dak, the team is stuck and not going anywhere.

It’s hard to rebuild without a QB. You want to build around a QB. If you don’t have one you end up wasting premium picks that could be going on other positions to try and find one.

Dak aint goin' anywhere. He's going to get a fat contract extension this offseason and will be our starting QB moving forward. Prepare yourselves.

I'd normally agree with you but nope. Gotta pay QB's based on playoffs and he's 2-5 and lost three playoff games at Home.
Not someone you should extend regardless of how bad the future can be with awful QB play. If anything keep Dak and restructure his contract
to make Wayyyyy less, bottom ten type QB contract, give him better talent around him, cause he obviously needs it. He can't carry a playoff team.
