People don't raise their kids anymore. They worship them, or ignore them almost altogether. Case in point.

There is zero excuse for Zeke. He needs to grow up, or this will be a very short career. Partying is incredibly hard on the body; it won't hold up. Guys who learn that play a long time; guys who don't are gone early.

The fact that even Zeke's parents are concerned about his behavior possibly being a problem speaks volumes.

Granted, most of what he does may not be things that constitute a threat to society -- they're just not advisable.

I would not be surprised if Zeke continues with his bad decisions. It seems to be in his character.

Out of curiosity, besides me, are there others of us who find Elliott and his antics annoying and who don't think he's a special ball of fun?
Well I am a little.
He is spoiled by years of success and being a star athlete.
He is childish and immature.
But he goes all out on the field so
that's good.
He is what he is and isn't going to change anytime soon.

Oh cool, another person talking hot air about Zeke. Yawn.

Camp has now started and still the tired old narratives are being rehashed.

But it's 247 sports so not surprised. They fish for stories every single day.

It's hardly hot air considering he's spot on in his assessment, and it's far from a tired old narrative considering most Cowboys fans are sitting on pins and needles waiting for some sort of decision from the league.

Yep. Me, too. And he's my favorite player on the team because I just love running backs.

I love how hard he runs, and his freakish athleticism. But the spoon thing is getting old, the unnecessary leaps into the end zone, the half-shirt cheesiness, and the party-every-night lifestyle.

He's going to be rooming with Randy Gregory if he doesn't chill out.

facepalm me all you want, i know what i see and I've been watching cowboys games for 30+ years. Troy overcompensates to not seem like a homer and it annoys me, my opinion

not derailing this thread any further. good day gents!
You go to other other teams forums and they say he's a homer. I don't want a play by play person rooting for any team. That's what the pre-game shows are for.

Society now is really a whole lot different then Troy's time. Not that is an excuse but even the King Knucklehead on Troys teams were Michael Irvin he did a lot of things and carried himself more maturely because the way he was raised. Fast forward 20 years kids are raised with less ingrained responsibility even those raised in stable homes like Zeke. Throw in social media and camera phones we are lucky we have not seen a video where Zeke farted without saying excuse me.

He's a great player-the best on our offense. And to his credit, he comes to camp focused.

But, yeah, the sideshow is annoying. Even the team building stuff like throwing candy at Dak in interviews gets old quick.
