If you don't want to discuss yesterday's game, then don't. Need to rant? There is a rant zone. What are you struggling with here? If you are just compelled to criticize Jerry/Garrett in every thread you open, you should probably take a break from the forums and football in general.

Actually, there is an idea. How about heading to the NFL zone is discussing football there. The NFL season is still going, a lot of interesting teams and playoffs right around the corner. Head to the off-topic zone and discuss something outside of football. If you're struggling this much with the "banned topics", like I said, you have an agenda you want to be spamming the boards with.

Again, for the 400th time I don't have a problem. My problem is with people criticizing people for creating topics they don't like. If you don't like it, don't click it or read it. Surely don't post on it. And for Gods sake, enough with the if you don't agree with how I feel, you need help crap!! We disagree , get over it!! Take a pill for your obsession with yourself!

If the pet shop ran out of cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, lions, tigers, bears and pet rocks I'd say OK. But a monkey? A monkey? Whatever.

I think Troy has a better feel for the goings on inside an NFL locker room than some of our posters.

Some posters on CZ can make this place insufferable.

The wheels have fallen off because he got a pet monkey???????

I would pay a monthly subscription to Cowboys Zone if I had the power nuke threads like this from the face of the internet. PMing Reality now....

No, the wheels didn't fall off because he got the pet monkey. The pet monkey is a sign that the wheels have already fallen off.

No, your problem with the supposed "banning" of certain topics. Don't switch up your complaint on me. Nothing is banned, it's moved to sub-forums. People aren't complaining about the topics, they are complaining about the same posts being posted in every thread, even irrelevant ones.

Hopefully you got it now.

Dude hasn't been a part of an NFL locker room for 15 years, an absurd claim is an absurd claim no matter who it comes from. What he said was stupid, doesn't matter if he's a HOF QB.

Why do you feel I need to be reading your other posts in this thread? Those posts weren't directed at me, your first post to me was about a supposed ban on topics. Whatever other discussion you had in this thread wasn't with me. I'm addressing your initial point.

It is an amusing anecdote that he is sharing from his past. He is saying that locker room was a generally crazy scene, but when he turned around and someone had a pet monkey, he knew it had reached an all new low point.

He is not saying Dez is a bad person for having a pet monkey just that a monkey in the locker room was a sign things may be outta perspective.

Good to see Dez is focused on his monkey while Gregory is focused on pissing fans off on twitter. Neither of these guys will ever get a ring with their current attitudes. Would love to see a guy like Parcel's threaten them with their jobs. One thing is for sure they both know how to run their mouth better than they play.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought coaches were supposed to police locker rooms.

It's typically team leaders according most players...even more so back when Aikman is talking about. Things have changed recently for a few coaches: http://pro32.ap.org/article/nfl-coaches-players-mingling-more-locker-rooms

Then there's this regarding the Incognito issues in Miami:

"Like many players, Winston had never heard of an issue like this in a locker room. If players have problems with each other, they talk. If that doesn't help, they sometimes fight. In some delicate situations, team leaders will step in and resolve the matter. And if an issue becomes too potentially divisive, then veterans will take it to the head coach or the front office, as Pollard said." http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9...ises-question-whether-nfl-locker-rooms-police

I'm done, can't argue with someone too lazy to read. You keep rooting for the BOYZ to continue their 20 year mediocrity , I'll keep rooting for them to get better. In the end we're both cheering for the same logo.

"Once a guy buys a pet monkey, the wheels have fallen off".

You must be kidding.

This place is insufferable sometimes. This is one of those times.

The monkey has nothing to do with anything.

This was funny when it was posted in early November, now, not so much.

The point Troy was trying to make, is that once a guy buys a pet monkey, his wheels have fallen off. You can see with Dez Bryant that his head wasn't in the game. He had a lot of drops and mental mistakes, even if you give him a pass for his injuries. Something is rotten there.

With certain topics being banned now, it limits what can be discussed. I mean do you want to see threads breaking down yesterday's game, really? If you want to discuss the draft or the players in the draft, that removes the next set of topics. The upcoming playoffs and teams in them is done in another board, so there is a few threads. What topics would you like to see? This is the kind of stuff that is going to be discussed now because of the restrictions.

Wow. You must be trolling with this nonsense. Please tell me, which topics have been banned, exactly?

Wait, I'll answer for you...NONE. The only thing that was said is for posters to not derail threads. Keep the Jerry/Garrett/etc RANTING in threads that are for that type of thing.

Pretty simple.

Choice of pet animal has little to do with players performance. Dez wasn't healthy (still isn't) and his confidence was thrown off. He didn't report to camp in good shape and also missed a bunch of practices with his foot. He never got into sinc. Add the fact that he had four different QB's and I think we can come up with more factors than a pet monkey to explain his performance.

Let's call out the snake owners too.

While compiling more injuries to his flawless resume.

Twenty years of  doesn't help, a bunch of Historians talking about the three Amigos.

Dez should become JWitten BFF.....that will toss the criticism aside and grant immunity to play.
