We are switching to zone and I am more interested in whether he plays on the strong side or weakside. I prefer him as LCB because of how physical he is.

We are moving away from man calls and don't follow receivers so that notion of a pecking order is unfounded. Scandrick is likely to start weak and Brown strong with Carroll or the rookie manning nickel.

Wonder if the move to Zone makes them less inclined to takena CB at 28

Just to create a fuss... since we are moving towards Marenilli's preferred Zone defense, is there any chance Byron Jones gets moved back to CB?

Yep lol, 6th round pic, this team lol

Yeah we should trade for Malcolm Butler, oh yeah undrafted guy, can't do that.

Maybe we can talk the Seahawks into dealing Richard Sherman--oh shucks fifth round pick.

We should've signed AJ Bouye, right? Maybe not he was undrafted.

Maybe we should've signed Josh Norman? Fifth round pick, no way.

If Anthony Brown works hard and wins the job, I hope to hell he is our CB1. His draft status should not matter. If he was a first round pick last season and had the same exact rookie year...we would be here excited to see him be a full time starter but because he's a sixth round pick it's reflective negative on the team?

Because we didn't resign a first round bust in Claiborne or a fifth round pick in Carr? That should reflect positive on the team and Brown that we trust our sixth round pick that much.

Corners get passed over all the time that turn out to be studs in the NFL. Brown could be that guy.

Richard Sherman is what a 5th rounder?

I guess he can't play.

He's a clutcher and grabber. The more times he is matched up on premiere receivers, the brighter the spotlight will be, and more and more PI calls will be made.

I would think so. The talent goes into the 5th round. There is better OL talent that will be available on day 2 then people put on.

I want a DE with the first pick personally. DB and OL/TE on day 2. Pick up another DB and the remainder of OL/TE on day 3.

Normally it is tough to cherry pick like that but the draft is so obnoxiously deep we likely can get away with it.

Why is that funny?

Everson Walls was the #1 corner for several seasons and he was undrafted.

I'm with you.. Dosent matter where he was drafted, can he play is the question. He proved in limited time last year he could. He looked like a starter that seldom made rookie mistakes.. more recent example: Richard Sherman was a 5th round pick.. think he's proven he can be a #1
