LolEvery single team who is contention, and some not, made moves. But the cowboys and all its infinite wisdom, stayed pat.

Mental ability is it? You think Dallas would have traded Micheal Irvin? Even after Micheal stabbed a teammate in the neck, Dallas still didn't trade him. Teams don't trade a high performing number one WR. So what does that tell you about these guys that were on the trading block. They either aren't that good and/or they aren't worth the time and money.
Why are some Cowboy fans on this website trying to get rid of Dak and/or Zeke? Because some fans don't think they are worth the time or money. But why is the front office not trying to get rid of Dak or Zeke? Because the front office sees value in those guys. Every front office around the league has certain players that they wouldn't trade for anything. The guys that were traded here recently don't have much value to their own teams. Their own teams see them as easily replaceable. And here you are wanting us to trade for an easily replaceable player who's more than likely not performing up to his contract. But you say I lack mental ability.
THEY ARE ON THE TRADING BLOCK FOR A REASON.
Pretty much. And had we given up more than a conditional 4th for whoever, people would say Jerry got taken to the cleanersSome on here simply wanted a trade so it would be talked about. They didn’t care who or did not know enough to point out a potential target. They just wanted a trade, even if we were to have made a bad trade. This is just one example of the know nothing fan.
You do realize we traded for a starting DT rightEvery single team who is contention, and some not, made moves. But the cowboys and all its infinite wisdom, stayed pat.

Yeah I think a lot fans just wanted to feel like this front office was “all in” this year. In reality, not making a trade now doesn’t prove anything either way. The Cooper trade this off-season made some feel like this FO was just reloading for the future instead of now. We don’t really know. The only cure for fan angst is to win a bunch of playoff games. Some on here simply wanted a trade so it would be talked about. I suspect we will see Odell in our futureEvery single team who is contention, and some not, made moves. But the cowboys and all its infinite wisdom, stayed pat.

And the Cowboys weren't rebuilding in 1989? Teams that see players as part of their future will never trade them. This isn't.. how'd you put it..BRAIN SCIENCE!Teams (like Pitt) traded claypool who is a wr1, because they are in a rebuild. This isn’t rocket surgery.
So who did you want? You wanted Cooks and his 18million guarantee. Or are you just screaming to scream.Every single team who is contention, and some not, made moves. But the cowboys and all its infinite wisdom, stayed pat.

Well it hasn't improved yet.
The defense did give up 240 rushing yards against the Bears.
That’s not true that it has to be an overpay. Eagles seem to do just fine making trades; only here our narrative is that you must get burned in trades.
