ChatGPT couldn’t find an example of a starting QB that tore his hamstring and returned to play at a high level. The best example was Vick and he sprained his hamstring and lost some of his explosiveness. I think Dak’s injury has ended his career. Sure, he will attempt to come back, but he will be completely immobile and exposed and will have no option to retire or be forced to retire.
I don't know if I could get on board that his career has ended as he will be back but this injury will mean the hamstring will linger. Vick suffered that injury in 2013 when he was age 33 and it bothered him the rest of his career. I tend to agree with you that this will change the trajectory of his career when he comes back.

How did Troy fare after he lost his Oline, WR and Defense during Troy's last 4 years? Looks like Troy needed them all to produce so well. Looks like Troy needed a supporting cast as well.

True or False? Jimmy sounds like a hypocrite and an idiot.
Well, I think that Jimmy knows what a potential winning situation looks like and doesn’t see one here.

I’m not blaming anyone except management. They had two separate windows to win under Prescott and blew both for different reasons.

Jerry expects people to perform at a high level if they are paid accordingly. Doesn’t work that way, and in this case the player isn’t capable and it isn’t his fault. The agent manipulated things perfectly and if Dallas didn’t give him 60per someone else would have.

End of the day what he says has merit. You can drag Cooper Rush. You can talk trash to Dak haters, but Jimmy Johnson knows how to win superbowls and he knows what it takes and doesn’t take. He’s earned that respect!

Only criticism of jimmy from me about his coaching is that I think his style would have been difficult with a salary cap and guaranteed contracts. Players have to much control....that's tough on college coaches...although the NIL taking care of that. Lol
NIL has basically made big time college football effectively semi pro.

Although premier players have always been taken care of. It's just legal now.....;)

that isnt trashing dak lol..
He just said this
"I would never have given Prescott a new contract. I'd have let him play it out. He's the highest-paid player in the league, he's not the best player in the league," Johnson said on FOX Sports' "The Herd."

"They're [the Cowboys] so financially strapped right now. I don't know what they do. They talk about changing coaches, but I don't know if changing coaches is going to help them. Mike McCarthy is a good coach."

this is what I was thinking, but am surprised to hear jimmy say it.
adding to the mess, they will give parsons 40 mil a year or more.

Blimey! Where you been, Jimmy? It is old news that Yoda got swindled by a mediocre QB.
The upshot is, dear playmates, is that Dallas is in for at least 4 years of nuclear winter hell and will be a laughingstock in the NFL.
That is what Yoda has done to my team that, even in off years, made a good accounting for itself. No more.

Yoda has destroyed a once proud team.

Simple. Jerry and son didn’t want to risk not being “relevant,” and they have no idea how and where they are going to find the next QB.

Ought to be a fun next handful of years.
Not sure if it will be “fun”

Jimmy knows more about football and talent evaluation and motivation in his right pinky finger than Dumbo thinks he knows after almost 30 years of failure. Glad Jimmy didn’t bend over for Jerry.
