Yeah, Jerry hates coaches who aren’t easily and willingly controlled.

I think Jerry in a way wants a guy to look him in the eye and stand up to him. Jerry admires that and will at least listen. Does it mean anything? I dont know.

Well, considering Jerry absolutely sucks at hiring coaches, if he doesn't think Vrabel would be a good fit, chances are he actually would be. But unfortunately, Jerry values certain traits that really have nothing to do with how well a guy coaches.
