Blasphemy! Blasphemy! Jerry is God.

During the Parcells years he was just withholding his powers.

You're right saying that about God is blasphemy. And I'm serious.

Norv has NOT had success as a HC, only as a OC. And he only worked for Synder the last 2 years in was in Washington. And what on Earth makes anyone thing that working for JJ would be any better than work for either Synder or Davis, they all seem to be about the same to me.

How can you say that, Snyder is obviously much shorter than JJ or Davis.

Normally I don't denegrate people over things they can't help, like body size or acne scars, but in Shorty Snyder's case I make an exception - apologies to all other short of stature men. ;)

You don't dictate to JJ when you're the lowly Norv Turner. Keep on interviewing Jerry, you can do better than this pock marked clown.
I'm not a big Norv Turner fan,but the clown here is Jerry Jones.

Mike Singletary would run the 4-3 or the Bears 46. I think the Cowboys have the right personnel to run either.

Singeltary was with the Ravens and Nolan when they ran the 3-4.

I would like to have Singletary as our DC. He would pour his Hall of Fame pride to have a great defense. He played at Baylor and he was a Big Cowboy's fan growing up. I remember when the '85 Bears beat us 44-0 they had an interview with him during the week leading up to the game and he said the reason he wore glasses was because he was stuck to the TV watching his favorite team play.

And until Danny Boy came along, he had the Skins headed in the right direction... go check his season by season won-loss record in DC, you'll see what I mean...

Here's Norv's record the five years before Danny Boy came along:

1994 3 -13
1995 6 -10
1996 9 -7
1997 8 -7 - 1
1998 6 -10

Oh yeah, Norv really had them headed in the right direction

Now I see why you didn't post the numbers, you just hoped people would believe you.

NFL Network's Adam Shefter, talking on WFAN, said Norv Turner told Jerry Jones he had a specific defensive coordinator and personnel guy that he'd have to bring to Dallas before taking the Cowboys job.
Shefter said the decision may not come for a few days because Jones may interview another coaching candidate. Turner seems to be the favorite for the job, but Jones may want to keep his defensive coach. Jan. 29 - 3:08 pm et

Yes!!! Turner wants Singletary. This is very good news.

I like Norv making this move. If Jerry doesn't make the deal because he won't be picking all the coaches, it will say a lot about this organization. Jerry needs to let the football guys make some of the decisions.
