Just putting tape out there so Tampa can't complain about the unfairness of not having a chance to prepare.
Also - it gives his teammates on the return squads more experience on how to get in place and setup to give Turpin the optimum chances to succeed.Maybe they want to see him work and develop as a receiver ?
.. or see how he handles fair catch punts and decision making around our 10 yard line ?
I assume they want to see him as a WR at full speed...but he's already signed for 3 years.
Maybe show him how to use Zeke and Pollard more as well...McCarthy wants to school Moore on how to use Turpin.

He made the roster 3 weeks ago when they signed a 3-year deal.
I think turpin wants to show he can be good wr, so they will let him play wr more.Maybe they want to see him work and develop as a receiver ?

I think he wont be doing returns, just wr snaps.McCarthy wants to win. Four more returns for TDs should take care of that.
I think he wont be doing returns, just wr snaps.
And since MM said grier is gonna play most of game, he will have will throwing the ball to him.
I agree, but I think turpin is pushing for the wr snaps, so they are letting him do it .Save him for week one. Why try him at WR in a meaningless game when none of the starters are playing.
Rush is one of "their guys", so Grier isI hope this means he will be the back up and not Rush.
Also I hope they do not keep Rush as a 3rd QB taking up a roster spot.

this is where the HC should just say no, and promise him work at wr in the real games.
He did play in game 1, caught one pass, and just fair catch on the punts and did not return the kicks.I think the team probably wants to see him running some offensive plays. They might not even let him return kicks or punts.
I would want to see him in live snaps catching some passes.
Overall, the guy is an UDFA in his rookie season, so it makes sense to let him play some snaps in the 3rd preseason game. Particularly considering he didn’t play in the 1st preseason game.
Did he play in game 1? My bad… I didn’t think he did.He did play in game 1, caught one pass, and just fair catch on the punts and did not return the kicks.
for this 3rd game mike specified wr snaps, so I dont think he will be returning any kicks.
