If they are going to keep playing him then they should have let him play the 2nd half against the Chargers and try to get a 3rd return TD.

Also - it gives his teammates on the return squads more experience on how to get in place and setup to give Turpin the optimum chances to succeed.

I assume they want to see him as a WR at full speed...but he's already signed for 3 years.

Jet sweeps and some slot plays. Possibly seeing how he can stretch the field if he can get off of the blocks. This is where his speed and quickness can come into play.

His contract has no guaranteed money.......he obviously will make 53 but not coz of his contract.

WR are also paid better than return guys.

So I think he wants chance to show what he can do as a wr. And they are just letting him do it in this 3rd game.
He is the only guy who has made the team who will play in 3rd game. Just hope he doesnt get injured. He has no G $

And since MM said grier is gonna play most of game, he will have will throwing the ball to him.

Rush is one of "their guys", so Grier is
going to have to look real good to unseat rush.

I think that is why they are giving grier more time in this last game , to give him a chance to take the # 2 job,
but it will have to be good to unseat rush.

if it he Turpin, and an rookie new to the NFL at that, that is calling the shots on if and how he personally deems neccessary and what he wants,to do.. then that should tell you ("sadly" tell you)

I would want to see him in live snaps catching some passes.

He did play in game 1, caught one pass, and just fair catch on the punts and did not return the kicks.

I don't like it. I would get him off the field as early as possible. He has already shown in practice what he can do. No need to risk injury. I want him on the field in Week 1 against Tampa.
