I assume they want to see him as a WR at full speed...but he's already signed for 3 years.

That's what I think as well.

They are likely trying to determine if they can get by without Gallup and Washington until at least one comes back so they want to see if the guys they have already can step up.

If not, then they may be inclined to grab someone released from another team after final cuts.

8:00 minute mark of video. He's even going to get some time on offense apparently.

They will not be putting your star return man on ice for the regular season as everyone expected.

The issue about his size initially concerned me too. But I think they take the risk and he gets more time in the slot than many assume.
