Reports are they’re going to give him opportunities at receiver. They mentioned it on one of the podcasts today, and here’s an article.

I think they will give him more, but not a lot more because of who's in front of him. Not going to take Lamb, Gallup or Cooks off the field very often for Turpin. He might be the fourth receiver, though.

I could see some jet sweep plays for Turpin. I'm surprised that he hasn't already been used for them. Maybe he stinks at them in practice. Who knows.

Probably some, but McCarthy seems to like to bring him across the formation and send him out into the flat. It's tough to defend because the corner has to negotiate traffic. Diggs did it beautifully on that pass breakup that was a highlight clip, but it can mess up coverage having a corner having to fly across the field.

I’d like to see them use him to stretch the field at least. Him and cooks is a lot of speed to cover.

I think the way this offense is set up, he will be. The advantage of this system is that if the defense sets up to counter the short pass, that sets us up to counter by taking him deep. We just have to see it before the snap and make the right call.

It is indeed dumbing down the plays for Dak. A ridiculous development . Teams never win super bowls by bumbing down, MM is out of whack and it will show . The team has already tried every conceivable option to help dak reach or win a SB. Nothing has worked with him , and the excuses are running out.
