I watched the 1st 2 episodes and didn't think it was going to have enough storyline to hold my attention. But I'm hooked and never miss it now.

Mostly I think it's because I like James Spader, and he has that "pompous but loveable" role, down to a T. Very similar character to "Alan Shore" in "Boston Legal".

Spader is awesome, especially in his older movies. Blacklist might be my favorite drama out there today, just hope it doesn't get stagnate. Instead of developing personal stories, they need to stick to new cases each week IMO. I don't want it to turn into a "Fringe" where the meat of the show is lost.

.

Felt the same way.
Feel the same way now.
My brother is convinced he is her father. Told him, I hope not. It so used in so many stories.

Your thoughts?

He is definitely her father, I thought it was confirmed last season, no?

I thought it was hinted at but maybe as a trick?

Tell me exactly what you are referring to? Thanks in advance.

The scene in the hospital before he kills the non-biological father. I could have swore it was mentioned but maybe just a hint, been awhile.

Yes hand the other scene where he builds her music box? And another scene too.

That's why I think it's a trick. Lol

I suspect he's her grandfather, but uncle is possible too. I base this on the stewmaster episode, where Reddington specifically takes one of the first photographs of the stewmaster's victims, a young girl.

He should be something other than her father, or the setup is otherwise just pretty pedestrian.

That doesn't seem plausible, ages appear to be too close. It could be a possibility if Red and his child both started young, but that is a reach IMO.

The picture of the girl from the stewmaster was young. She'd have to have had an early teen pregnancy for the timeline to work at all. So yeah, it may not play out that way. That relationship does make for a very interesting puzzle though.

The rivals thing sucks and frankly it is just about drama.

I just want to see some good tattoos done and hated the drama portion of the other seasons...now they are trying to notch that up more. Grrr

Saw the first two episodes last night and agree with you about the drama. It's too much Jerry Springer and too little tattooing.

That's the path they were headed down since the fans voted the hot one back for season 2 lol

Not only that...so far the tattoos have not been very good. In the other seasons they had at least a few people who put out some pretty good tattoos early on...not the case so far this season.

I'd love for them to bring Craig back if he's learned black and grey. His other tattoos were great.

Hope they never bring back the Brady Bunch. I realized just how stupid that show was when they showed an episode with Bobby Brady mowing the families astroturf lawn. Nothing about the show made any sense. Mr Brady was an architect but had 6 kids living in 2 bedrooms.

Hmmmm. Interesting. Grandfather or uncle. I thought uncle for a while.

Agreed. Pedestrian.

It was a dumb show but Marsha Brady was hot....to a young teen anyways. She looks a lot like Christine Taylor from "Dodgeball" to me:

Homeland (Oct. 5th), Walking Dead (Oct. 12th), Ray Donovan (2nd season airing now), Penny Dreadful (1st Season just completed airing), Mad Men (2nd half of Season 7 - Airs Spring of '15 - UGH), Boardwalk Empire (Final Season started on the 7th), House of Cards (First season has been done but is an awesome binge watch)...a "few" of my favorites.

She actually creepishly does. Like it's not even a similarity. They're literally clones.
