If you could get a good OT ...or OG and move Tyler to OT AND get Sweat. That would help both lines IMO.
Not sure if Mazi will pan out or not but one thing is clear...at this time missing Hankins has made a difference and Hankins is no spring chicken.

No he doesn't.
We have 2.

The argument is that players like him are taken in the first round every single year, and they never matter. Jordan Davis, Derrick Brown...the list goes on and on.
Philly is probably lamenting taking Jordan Davis and letting Kyle Hamilton slide on by.

I like him as a prospect but DTs just aren’t traditionally good year 1.

Bring Hanks back and sign another FA Hanks type. Still good to draft this kid if he’s close to BPA.
Hankins and Sweat two different roles. Murphy is the player who holds similar role to Hankins.

My only concern with Sweat is what someone reported as a rumor. No way for us fans to flesh that out on our own, but if it's true he's not fully committed and is a partier, we can find another player to draft. Like Darius Robinson.

Sorry shameless plug

Mazi Smith isn't keeping anyone from drafting Sweat
Sweat would most likely need to be picked at 24 since he won't make it to 56.

That would be two consecutive 1st round picks, their most valuable teambuilding asset, especially since they refuse to participate in premium free agency, spent on the 1Tech position.

Typically, the 1Tech position accounts for 60% of the available defensive snaps. So you'd be spending back-to-back 1st round picks on a guy who will play about 30%.

Very true, at least recently.
many teams fall in love with athletes who are not top players
How many times do you hear someone called a physical freak but they turn out to be not all that great a PLAYER

would love sweat but I agree its a cold day in hell when Jerry used a second consecutive first rd pick at DT. Russel Maryland was the last one before Smith and HOW LONG AGO WAS THAT?
and of course that was Jimmy anyway
