So Coleman is the next Romo?

Bringing him up just shows how thin your argument is

Ever heard the phrase "exceptions make the rule"?

A zebra is a zebra for a reason

It's unclear what argument you're trying to make, the fact that PS players are long shots was never in dispute and I even stated that in the post you've taken issue with,,, now that's what you should call "thin".

The single worst starting player I've ever seen here. Not a starter because of injury, I'm talking penciled in week 1 starter. He was just so physically over matched in the NFL, which is why he's not in the league in anymore.

Yeah, I remember those guys too. All it told me is this is a guy who can't ever be taken seriously with anything he says about this team and it's players. He will prop up and rally around any player in the uniform, including a complete waste of space like Phil Costa.

He was terrible at the point of attack!

Leary. Romo. Church. Beasley. Dunbar. Bailey. There are a lot of UDFA contributors on this roster. They still faced long odds, but CFA is a legitimate way to buy time and earn reps.

No..... the point is that exceptions do exist. .... no one is guaranteeing that he will turn out to be an all star like Romo or even a starter like Leary, just that he deserves a chance.

Did you bother to read the thread before making this post ?
Can you show me where I said he doesn't have a chance or deserve a chance ?
I was responding to bringing up the example of Leary which is wrong in this context

The point is in reference to your "thin" argument and the comment of "So Coleman is the next Romo?". Did you bother to see the quoted post that I referenced with my reply? Did you ever hear the phrase "people in glass houses..."?

Actually, your attempt to discredit the premise that practice squad players sometimes become good players by pointing out that Leary was originally a better prospect than Coleman was shot full of holes because there are plenty of other instances where UDFAs come off the practice squad and do well.
