This should come as no surprise. This is the era of spouting off without a shred of evidence to back up anything you say. It's not just forgiven, it's encouraged.

Over the past 15 seasons, 38 quarterbacks have attempted at least 80 passes while tied or trailing by one score (8 points) or less in the last five minutes of the fourth quarter. In those situations, like on Sunday, the quarterback needs to score, and throwing an interception could effectively "end" the chances of winning.

Here are the interception percentages for those 38 quarterbacks in those situations, from best to worst:

2.46 Rich Gannon (3 int, 122 att)
2.78 Donovan McNabb (4 int, 144 att)
3.48 Joey Harrington (4 int, 115 att)
3.49 Brian Griese (3 int, 86 att)
4.14 Mark Brunell (6 int, 145 att)
4.20 Matt Schaub (5 int, 119 att)
4.26 Tony Romo (6 int, 141 att)
4.44 David Garrard (4 int, 90 att)
4.46 Kerry Collins (7 int, 157 att)
4.86 Ben Roethlisberger (7 int, 144 att)
5.00 Matt Ryan (5 int, 100 att)

5.38 Byron Leftwich (5 int, 93 att)
5.45 Jason Campbell (6 int, 110 att)
5.49 Aaron Rodgers (5 int, 91 att)
5.62 Steve McNair (5 int, 89 att)
5.73 Drew Bledsoe (9 int, 157 att)

6.32 Tom Brady (6 int, 95 att)

6.42 Kurt Warner (7 int, 109 att)
6.62 Brad Johnson (9 int, 136 att)
6.71 Philip Rivers (10 int, 149 att)

It's baffling how Romo can have these stats and have the reputation that he does. After looking at this plus the touchdown numbers that were posted earlier the true thing that should be being debated is is he the most clutch quarterback currently playing

When it comes to romo, most national writers and former players just say anything and most of the time just make stuff up.

Rodney Harrison said Sunday he prepared for romo when he was in San Diego as a guy who would throw the game away.

Interesting since he was with sd from 94-02.

Studying eastern Illinois tape must be the reason the chargers were so bad when he was there.

And tony dingy just makes stuff up all the time, that guy s completely useless as an analyst and was a spare as a head coach.

I don't think he was a spare as a head coach.
