His epic flameout made him more money in one year than he's ever made. He pocketed something like $40M after he got canned from his show. Despite his meltdowns and all his other issues he's one of the wealthiest actors and the cash just keeps rolling in.

That floors me! Really?

I sort of kept up with that flameout but had no idea he made so much money during that time.

He was certifiable. Crazy on drugs. Just nuts.

He's lucky he has any brain cells left with all the stuff he's done!

Wouldn't surprise me if he did that he's got a lot of money and a nice guy quality. A couple years ago he reached out to a cop killer who was on the run in the LA area to try and mediate the situation. Sheen has his issues but he's not a bad guy.

I partied with Sheen about 20 years ago at the Hilton in Webster(Nasa), TX. He was in town filming "The Chase" with Kristy Swanson. He wanted to hook up with a co-worker of mine and she got me into his private suite :D

He really is a nice guy but crazy as they come and his personality does not mix with alcohol and whatever else he enjoys.

Ok that :D says to me you enjoyed Charlie's party!

He's too old now to party like he's 20. It'll either kill him or he'll grow up. Maybe.

He is a talented guy.

In 2010, prior to his crash and burn he renegotiated his Two and a Half Men contract. For the last season of the show he netted about $1.3M per episode in upfront salary plus another $600,000 in back-end syndication fees. That comes to $1.9 million for each episode. Although he was fired before the season was out he still made 16 episodes out of the 24 scheduled making just over $30M. He also made a small fortune on his post-firing Torpedo of Truth live tour. Including his appearance fees and merchandise sales he raked in an estimated $7M. He made $2M on endorsements over a 12 month period. He also rakes in a ton of cash each year on DVD sales for previous films so despite all the drugs, hookers and porn stars he's up to his neck in he won't be going broke anytime soon.

I didn't know that. That's an insane amount of money.

Sheen and Lindsay Lohan should team up and star in a spinoff called Two and a Half Grams.

Just saw the finale.

I thought it was a good as it could have been.

Charlie wasn't really "slammed" (pun intended) .... all of the jokes and one liners and pokes at him WERE what the show was all about.... What his character was (all about)...

Why the 2nd piano drop on Lorre's head??

The writing on the show went to crap after Charlie left. They completely abandoned the premise of the show and sold out in order to cater to Kuscher's followers.

They couldnt make the characters work so they resorted to schemes like Miley Cyrus, Charlie having a daughter, them getting married and adopting a kid. Anytime a show resorts to these types of tricks you know it is all down hill.

I still watch the reruns, but only if Charlie is in it.

the show started to go south when the kid grew up, then Charlie left and it went to hell. I gave up on it after a few of the Kutcher shows but watched the last 5 or six episodes and they were just trash. I thought the finale was pretty good, Rose keeping Charlie in the pit like Silence of the Lambs was funny and definitely in her character.

I think Lorre was trying to show he could laugh at himself and wasn't the anal jackass Charlie said he was.

Thought the end was tacky. Was not a true end to the show, rather an hour long bash fest of Sheen's character outside of 2 and a half.

Thought the piano on the head was a horrid ending.

Soo was charlie in the helicopter with the piano? Oh no he was randomly walking to the door, and got randomly hit with a piano..

"Winning" by Lorre was distasteful. No one cares about Lorre. Why even use Sheen's phrase that he didn't use in 2 and a half as he killed off his character?

Literally the worst ending to a show I've seen.

I didn't even know it was still on. I used to have every television in my house on at almost all times. I knew about everything most likely not worth knowing. Haven't had a television now for two years and I don't miss it at all. Only took me about a week to get used to it.
