Amen! That guy Bradshaw playing for the Giants today, was a 7th rnd pick this year!

Plus, the Giants had Ryan Grant, who they traded to the Packers. The Giants must have liked Bradshaw more than Grant... or at least seen them as similar players.

As far as our picks... there are just so many ways we can go.

I wouldn't mind seeing Turner as a free agent to team with Barber. That duo would be much better than the current duo of Jones/Barber. Plus, we'd get him for nothing (pick wise) and still have the two #1's to use on WR/CB or whatever. Not a bad move at all IMO.

I could also see us using picks/players to move up to get McFadden. I go back and forth on that one... depending on what we'd have to give up.

Or, I could see us getting a Rice/Stewart/Slaton in round 1 with one of our picks and then using the other on CB or WR.

Really, I'd be fine with just about any of that. We're a good, deep, young team, so it isn't going to take a whole lot of players to help us. Just one dynamite RB and some DB and WR depth/developmental players and we're set, IMO.

We are so deep in most spots, that I don't see a lot of rookies coming in here and making the team... much less starting or having an impact.

what good is a link that validates that something is a rumor anyway? Its no secret that its a Rumor.

Now, is the rumor true, who knows

Jerry did say he wants WOW players to put around Romo... with him going to watch McFadden play in person, a lot of folks have put two and two together.

Plus, just too many media/analysts types have said that for it not to have *some* truth to it, IMO. Unless Jerry is flat out putting out misinformation this far before the draft, I think he's at least interested.

Also, I think Spagnola has said a few things about it and he's as close to Valley Ranch as any media guy can be.

One thing that we MIGHT consider, given that we probably aren't going to have a bunch UDFA make the team, and that we probably are looking more for quality rather than quantity . . . .

Is to keep our 2 1st rounders but package a pick or two (or player) and move up with our 2nd round pick from the 60s (most likely) to the low 40s (40-45 area).

Some good RBs should still be available around there as well, for example . . . .

Felix Jones (RB) and Antonio Cason (CB).

DeSean Jackson having a down year should tell you something. He's too think. He won't be able to get off press coverage in the pros and he'll be limited in the routes he can run because of his size.

I expect him to drop, and I doubt we take him. We can get a receiver in the second round. I think that's the less important position for the Cowboys, especially with no standouts in this draft.

I'm still trying to figure out why people think we need a RB in the first round. We need a WR and a CB in the first, we've already got a starting RB on our roster.

Yeah, not a bad idea, either.

I would use some of the later picks to move up in rounds anytime there a guy there that our scouts really like. Like you said, it there's a guy there early in the second round that kind of slipped out of round 1 (there always is) and we like him a lot... then make the trade to go up and get the guy.

Nice point and it's something that I hope we eventually end up doing.

I thinking we might end up doing that . . . . we can get 3 quality players, CB, WR, and RB doing that. And those seem to be our major roster holes right now.

We can always pick up a developmental QB, maybe one more LB and OL Day 2.

i see a lot of you are wanting to take a Rb with one of our 1st in this draft. I dont like this at all. Why would you use a 1st on a player that you project to be a back up from the start? Could we not find a back up RB, change of pace back, etc later in the draft? IF MB is the feature back.. going to get 60-70% of the carries, why spend a 1st on a player that will have little impact?

I would rather keep both picks and get a CB and FS,, depending on if Hamlin is resigned or not. If hamlin is resigned.. i would go with a WR.

I could live with the first round, either one, but I don't care for the Sweed pick and Smith is staying in school.

What's wrong with the Sweed pick?

Nothing has changed for me except that we can scratch off DT/NT from the needs pile.

stay put for the most part, no trades bigger than a few slots... draft the best WR/CB.
RB in round 2 with same few slots requirement, move up or down to get value.

pick 22 or so...WR: Adarius Bowman. Most T.O.-like player in this draft. Big, hard to cover with good hands but not great ones.

pick 30/31 ... CB Terrell Thomas (is a big press coverage guy) reminds me a lot of Henry... good when healthy. Future number 2 CB opposite TNew.

bottom of round 2 ... Steve Slaton RB/Return Guy. The Yang to Barber's Yin. Could improve punt return game and be used as a slot Receiver in some sets. Very quick and has good hands.

How "bad" are Bowman's hands? Average? or above average but not like Crayton's, for example?

I have only watched OSU a few times per season but Bowman seems to have good hands yet doesn't always extend to the ball. Rather like T.O. it seems he lets the ball come to him but does catch it. I certainly wouldn't qualify him as Rice/Irvin type hands. But he has also not had all-world QB play either so take it for what its worth.

I think he'd be a good fit here as a dependable, possession guy with some play-making ability.

I'd say he could replace Crayton in 2 years time as the 2/3 who plays on special teams.

May not sound sexy but getting a lot of playing time on a super bowl caliber team isn't easy:)

What's the story on his knee injury? Will it drop his stock?

I have just heard alot of bad things about him.

what bad things have you heard about him?

honestly, I was down on him at the beginning of the year for dropping so many passes. however, i didn't know he injured his wrist during summer camps and it was still hurt as the season started. I didn't find out how hurt his wrist was, until he made that awesome leaping catch about 4-5 games into the season........the catch where he ended up getting put out for the rest of the season.

The kid has a jacked up wrist and continued to go out there and try and help his team win. He could have sat out and redshirted, but he didn't....he played and even though he dropped some here or there, when I look back on it, he did make some nice plays prior to being out for the season.

He isn't the fastest WR out there, but he is fast enough. He is tall and has a long stride which covers a lot of ground quickly. He has great leaping ability. When healthy, he catches almosts all the passes thrown to him. I am sure he will be ready for the combine and the Pro Day. I am sure his 40 time will be around 4.5 and his vertical around 38-40.

IMO, he isn't the best WR I have ever seen come out of Texas, but he is near the top for sure.....Still have to put Mike Adams and Roy Williams at the top of that list.....

Injury prone, slow, not a good route runner, not physical enough......I could be wrong on these as the only thing I hear about him is on here.
