Two players I hope to see be the next ones cut.

First one to go has to be Tyson Walter.. Why is he still here? He should have been gone two years ago. :bang2:

Can you at least see them in one freaking preseason game before you want them cut?

who was throwing the ball to morgan all these years?

tim couch?kelly holcombe?jeff garcia?vinny testaverde?

GREAT QBS THERE.i think drew is better than all of them

2. Billy Cundiff - the last thing I want is for Dallas to be down by 2 points with only 15 seconds left in the game and we need Billy Cundiff to make a FG longer then 25 yards. This is another guy that can just completely let the team down all by himself.

We really need to get a real K in here.

Why are you lieng right now? Do you not recall the game tying, then game winning field goals against the Giants, one of which was a 52 yarder with no time left. Leave the guy alone, hes a solid kicker. :bang2:

And I'm sure VT made a winning touchdown, but one play does not excuse all the important kicks we needed. I can't tell you which game it was, but i'll never forget the look on BP's face when we were struggling one game, and twice we got down close enough to kick the field goals and Cundiff missed them both.Cut him:chainsaw:

Yeah he is very fast. He just can't catch the ball. You said it yourself.....if he gets his hands right. Well that is the biggest if for the team right now.

I will give up some speed for better hands. We already have some speed with Glenn.

Speed don't do any good if you can't catch.
:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Seriously dude, you absolutely crack me up with your Morgan bashing.

We already know what we have in Morgan. A vet WR with great speed but can't catch a football.
OK I'll bite. Please explain why. Don't foget the part where you prove he drops 9 or 10 passes.

When I think of Quincy Morgan I only think of him as the one player on offense who can kill a good drive all by himself.

This line had me ROTFLMAO!

You're too hard on the man in my opinion. I think he'll fit well in our offense, the guy is a deep threat, he may drop passes but he's known for making big plays.

We have younger WRs on this team with much better hands. I would rather see what we have in these other WRs.

First of all, its training camp. Just wanted to remind you in case you forgot. With that in mind, there very well may be younger WR's on the team with better hands, there might not be. I'm confident that Crayton will be the #3 wr this year. Now, tell me this, if these younger WR's are better, then don't you think that they will be put ahead of Morgan? Or is he one of Parcells players and there is no way this could happen?

Btw, once again, this is training camp, so isn't what we are doing right now just that, seeing what we have in these other WR's?

I'm not even going to comment on the obsurdity of your "idea" of cutting Cundiff.

Rarely is it the case that you improve through subtraction. Maybe replacement, but we really aren't replacing those two players through cutting them.

Gotta agree, Vinny blew the Philly game, very costly interceptions. Cundiff's field goal miss had no effect on the outcome.

With this post from Wolverine suggesting that Morgan gets cut and give his spot to Copper... It started me to thinking that I've heard more about Ahmad Merrit, Jamaica Rector, Crowder and of course Morgan... I dont recall hearing anything at all about Copper in this TC.... Its like he's just disappeared... What has his camp been like? Can anyone give me some info on Copper's progress in this camp??

thanks

Actually, in three years, Cundiff is perfect from within 29 yards and has only missed three out of 38 field goal attempts within 40 yards.

It's Cundiff's LONG range (40 yards or more) kicking consistency that fans should be more concerned about, not his chip shot range.

Matter of fact, if you look at the entire 2004 season, Cundiff didn't lose any of those games for us because of field goals. We lost most of our games by such a large margin, and if you look at the ones that were close, Cundiff was spot on, or the 3 pts wouldn't have mattered. You can try to say he caused a momentum shift, but that's speculation, and honestly, we had little momentum to begin with last year.

His kickoffs were another story, but nobody kicks it into the end zone every time.

I"m for cutting Cundiff, Morgan, Dantzler...hell, I don't care who we cut.

WE can cut Henson and Romo...we can cut Lynn Scott and lots of other guys.

The trick is finding better players....hell, I don't care if we cut Julius Jones as long as we replace him with a better player.

You don't cut guys just for the sake of cutting them, but Cundiff is not one of the better Kickers in the league...if a veteran kicker becomes available, Cundiff had better be having one of his good weeks.

We all want better players, but they don't fall off trees.

If I recall correctly, Dallas had one of the best opponent's starting field positions on kickoffs in the league last year. There's a lot more to kicking off than simply hitting the ball as far as one can. Hang time and directional kicking is as important if not more on kickoffs than punts.

I echoe this sentiment. Can we play a couple of preseason games before we start cutting guys. Let's not forget that Morgan has caught more balls in a season than everyone on our roster below him has in their careers combined. We are anything but deep at the WR position.

I won't argue that, but I think Cundiff gets more than his share of the blame for last years quagmire of a season. He's not the best kicker in the league, but hes not the worst either. These clowns Parcells is bringing in to unseat him won't get the job done.
