We lost 3 games because of missed FGs, for crying out loud.

Go replay that Skin comeback. Report back who that was that scored TWO Touchdowns behind our safeties! A recurring theme.

FS and shoddy FG's cost us the playoffs.

Don't forget questionable play calling and not fully utilizing Bledstuds raw talents as a downfield assassin!

Ok...I gotta give you some credit.

That downfield assassin line gave me a good chuckle.

Ken Lucas, Panthers, and Terence Newman, Cowboys. Champ Bailey of the Broncos finished in third place, and on sheer ability, plus the memory of what a cornerback used to look like, the Champ was king. But he'd also get into strange walkabouts when he'd seem to lose focus and next thing you knew, there were six points on the board. Nevertheless, Champ was going to be one of my top two until the end of the grading period, when I was checking notes with someone and he said, "Give Newman a more careful look."

Now my last memory of Newman was ducking his head as the Commanders' Chris Cooley ran over him for a TD, but what the heck, fair's fair. So I did a complete workup, as the doctors like to say, and Newman was my highest scorer on pure coverage, although he was not stellar playing the force. But neither was Deion. It happens that way sometimes...you just sort of fall into it, although most selectors would not admit it.

Sorry SP, but I could care less what this hack Dr. Z has to say! He's a mediorce armchair QB at best!

I'll admit this part of this hack's article was pretty funny, but still sad to watch :( :

Both TDs were on Glenn, and not our safeties, but you have never been good with facts now have you?

FYI, a missed FG was the difference in that game, too.

(a) Both TDs were Glenn's responsibility.

(b) Our FS was on the opposite side of the field.

That would have been Moss splitting Roy (SS) and Glenn (CB).

Forgive BZ - He's not used to a S ever being where he's supposed to be in deep coverage. Last 5 minutes of a game you'd never expect your safeties to actually have deep coverage responsibilities!

Yes, deep halves.

Roy and AG didn't do their jobs.

Twice.

Yes, watching Roy Williams screw up twice not getting back........ Thats why we need a Vet Leader back there like Ty Law. He's get more interceptions than Davis, BerryO, Izell Reese, Everage, Roy will in 5 years! And he'd sure as heck take charge of the secondary and have them lined up correct!

If Ty Law can make Roy a step faster and Glenn 3 inches taller and 5 years younger I'm all for it.

Other than that he'd be in the exact same spot that KD was and have the same impact.

No one was lined-up incorrectly on that play.

No amount of vet leadership would change the outcome of that play.

If that were the case our safeties wouldn't have sucked in coverage when it was Roy and Woody together.

Roy and AG were there.

They didn't make the play.

You mean you want them in that 4-3 wussy, cover two, that you incorrectly mislabeled it when it happened?

Or the prevent that, that incorrect statement morphed into?

Parcells said both TDs were on Glenn in his PC, don't like it, take it up with Tuna.
