If he couldn't get away, I don't want him.

When some guy who gorges on Krispy Creme's walks you down, that is not a good sign at all.
To tell you the truth, I'd give the cop a tryout and see if he knows enough to look back over his shoulder for a donut thrown his way. :D

Didn't Jets draft a CB?

Law when cleared - may be a Cowboy deal target.... Its aligning nice!

There is nothing that is aligning. The guy is a punk. No team has signed Ty Law for a reason. The boy can't even outrun a couple police officers. Horrible AND pathetic in my opinion.

Regardless if dips*** Law is a player from Parcells' past, Bill and Jerry have clearly stated that they want "character" guys on their team. Not idiots who run from the police.

Your statement of handing the defense over to Ty Law is ludicrous. Yeah, hand the keys over to a broke down CB and say run my defense when you have an impact player like Roy Williams. We all know you eat these kinda threads up. Loving to argue back and forth, especially if it's about a former Patsie.

Ty Law need not apply in Dallas. Won't happen.

Sig: All Juke. I had nothing to do with it.

Woodson is the greatest Cowboy of all times IMO. I dig it ...

I was just saying that basically, he prolly got caught or "allowed" himself to get caught cuz the dude had his piece on him. That's all. Nothing special.

I see ...

I can see your point but at the same time he had that peice B4 Law (no pun intended) started to run and Law knew that. He just had a brain fart we all do some more than others.

Moving along:

Just to be clear I don't dislike Law he's been a great CB I just don't think he will be that big of a help here and with who his agents are we all pretty much know BP and JJ will not deal with them so why people keep insisting he will end up here is ignorant. I read a weak or so ago that NE had offered him a contract and signing bonus that he would make about 6 mil this year and he hasn't accepted but considering he was supposed to make around 12mil that would be a good discount for them. But point is if he wouldn't accept that what makes you (anyone who wants him here) think we would offer more or any where close for that matter?
The Pats were offering that as an extension, when he was under contract with them and he was healthy. Right now, Law can't command anything cuz he still has a screw in his foot. Once he proves he's healthy, then his market value will be determined.

Also, I don't buy that he'd come here to play FS at a BP discount. He wants to play CB and he wants CB money.

Nor idiots who hire the Poston's as their agents.

And by the time he let the cop catch up to him, he'd already gotten rid of whatever it was that he didn't want them to find in his possession to begin with.
That too...;)

But like someone said, he knew all cops have guns before he started running.

Couldn't have been an extension for this year he was already under contract and was supposed to make 12.5mil. They cut him to avoid the cap hit and before his roster bonus kicked in which may have been 6mil I don't know.

But what I read was after he visited Pit. I can't find the article now (and I've been looking) but it said that cower would wait and see how his injury ends up before making a decision on offering a contract but He didn't think it would compare to the offer the pats had on the table for him to return to NE...the amount mentioned was 5.43 mil If I remember correct and it was a one year contract.

I've read that Pitt was in wait and see mode. The only contract that I know Pats had for him was prior to the injury. I haven't read anything else post injury. But I don't discount what you posted.

It's just that w/a bad wheel, I'm sure he oughta know he's not gonna be able to get top CB paper. I'm sure most teams who are interested are just waiting until he can run before any real numbers are tossed around.

Charges against Law were dropped fast as baseless.

Do you try and maximize your earnings? Football players have a short career - its reality.

A player like Bledsoe signed at a total discount to start and play here. Ty Law may be facing that same decision. His $ AT cb MARKET IS SHRUNK - GOOD FOR US AT fs $:)

Ty Law is the key to world peace.

I beg to differ. Bledsoe signed at about what he was worth (maybe even got slightly overpaid IMO) and should thank his lucky stars Parcells didn't tell him he'd have to actually compete for the starting job.

Agreed. Not much discount there. Further, it isn't like Law sees Parcells the way that Key sees Parcells. There may be respect, but it isn't that same man-love between coach and player here....

I think people are missing the point here> POSTONS. Does anyone know how many points the Postons make off of each deal made? Is it set? I mean I'm sure these guy could care less about how luvy duvy a player maybe with a past mentor. In the ned these guys want theirs and are in clients ears 24/7...MOOOO MONEY. I too like Law but firmly believe his best days are behind him and unless we sign the guy to a very soft contract i say no way. And i doubt with agents like the Postons who fill an already balloned up head with words like chosen one that there will be any discounts.
